I'd suggest the Griots Fast Finishing MF pads. They aren't overly aggressive but work faster than foam. If it's hazy finish with a Griots Yellow polishing pad and a finishing polish.

Mixing products with a wash product will work if they are water based. You'd have to ask the manufacturer if a particular product is water or solvent based.

If you want to try an inexpensive rinseless wash it's hard to beat Duragloss.

You'll need some strong cleaning and polishing compounds to get that off.

I use a strong cleaner like Dawn or an All Purpose Cleaner and see what happens.
