  1. Re: Has Autogeek discontinued 3D Brand products from their store?

It is a nice soap. a local 3d store had a sale going on, on top of an online sale. I asked if they'd honor the online sale and they did.

Walked out with a 5 gallon bucket for 35$ - Yup. Excellent...

Re: Clear coat failure, is this how it starts?

My own Toyota daily driver Yaris went through the same thing. it starts small, and eventually spreads through some of the horizontal edges. The clear coat starts drying up, and flaking off,...

Re: Best MILDEST polish by hand ?

This really does sound like a good situation for a paint cleaner. Several on the market.

Ones I've used are Blackfire Paint Cleaner and Poorboy's World Polish. Both excellent. And if you wanted...

Re: 3D Graphene Coating - Water Behavior

To add, some tend to dust more easily. I had about 4 coatings on a test hood. Stuck the hood in the garage and came back to it a few weeks later. Some sections had obviously more dust than others.

Thanks. Been eying it since a review from The Guz. I'm sure I'll add a bottle down the line.

    Re: Rinseless Washes - 2022

Chasing the dragon? hehe. I refer to it as falling down the rabbit hole. I recently got ech20 in a maintenance kit. Maybe I'll try it as a rinseless. Not sure if I was going to gift the small...

    Re: Rinseless Washes - 2022

I got three of their products. Top notch quality. Their quick connect, while bulky, is quite smooth and a different engagement mechanism than the usual ball bearings. (sort of a spring clip)

    Re: Rinseless Washes - 2022

In my experience, all the rinseless I've tried work well enough.

ONR - I liked it well enough, kept buying 32oz bottles. Eventually sold /gave away the last of it after trying McKees n914. Bought...

    Re: Rinseless Washes - 2022

it's a good nozzle. VERY SOLID. You an feel the weight of that thing. It's a bit big for me, but I'm short at 5'6. I'm sure Mike G has no issue as he is quite a bit taller than me.

Re: Things that make you go hmmm

I see meme's about Ohio. They make it look bad. I never understood them, for the obvious reason that I don't know it.

But I don't really see news stories about OH. I see them about Florida and...

    Meghan !

Thanks for everything over the years. I got nothing but great respect for you!
  13. Re: IT'S OBVIOUS FLEX DOESN'T WANT YOU TO USE ROTARY???

It's a safety mechanism. Safety to the polisher itself. - The machine isn't meant to spin 3" pads in rotary mode. Too much for the motor.

I talked to at least two guys who drilled out that bit, to...

    Re: 5" or 6" pad on a G8?

Why didn't you go with the cordless DeWalt? Rather than buy into a new battery system, use the one you have.
    Or the new Milwaukees?
  16. Re: Ever notice Autogeek is always out of PXE when tool sales come around?

I know of another vendor that runs out of the PXE. And they don't run sales

Re: Just had to share! $299 or $82.99?

For the Flex, i believe you can use the collet adapter made by APS, and use one of those extensions either by Adams' or ones made for the dremel tools. Research this before you make the purchase,...
  19. Re: Consolidating Products - Best AIO & Wax/Sealant?

I suspect that UNO isn't as aggressive as Speed. In back to back testing, with UNO and BF's One Step, i did find I had more correction with the BF. It was also more sun friendly (mobile work). And i...

Re: Expectations of a Mini Polisher?

another option, that is way easier on the wallet, is the Griot's G8. You can use it with 2" and 3" pads, both backing plates included in the box.

For 1" they offer a separate 1" backing plate...
  21. Re: It's Finally Here! FLEX FS-140 Flexible Shaft Set for the PXE 80

Sounds like MAP, or Minimum Advertised Price. Something I learned about when "launching" my own product line. After selling to my second, then my third retail store, I kind of saw the importance of...

I have a Subby for my DeWalt blower. Those are 3D printed. They feel pretty solid and mine has been holding up just fine.
