    Re: maintaining MF towels...

Curious... why no dryer? I damp dry at low heat and then keep them running on no heat until dry. They seem to hold up well. I know you donít want to get mf super dry, but I canít imagine hanging all...

Yikes. 5/100. Maybe they know their treatment process isnít great. Most cars are a lot longer time duration.

    Help with weird stains/marks (w/pics)

Rust through is typically much longer than standard warranty... like 10 years. What brand of car?

Re: Help with weird stains/marks (w/pics)

How old is the car? It looks like rust, but you say itís smooth, which makes it sound like itís beneath the clear coat. If the car is within the rust through warranty, I would take to the dealer....

Re: Yellow spots on brand new 2019 Sti.

Did you use a machine with the polish, or just by hand? I would think machine polishing would remove that. I canít imagine itís not on the surface. It looks like airborne contaminants that got wet...

  8. Re: Need a little help on a pretty jacked up Infiniti G37

Thanks for the tips Tony. I was thinking about getting some Menzerna FG400. Sounds like the Sonax stuff might be a better plan.

I donít think Iím up for wet sanding. Iíll just get it the best I...
  9. Need a little help on a pretty jacked up Infiniti G37

A buddy of mine has a white G37 that looks like it has been scrubbed with a kitchen sponge. I did a little test spot to show him how much better it could look if we polished it, and I couldnít...
  10. Re: Pinnacle Liquid Souveran Wax, holy cow itís good!

Great work. I love the couple Pinnacle products I have... paste Sovereign and the spray wax. I think Iíll be ordering the liquid when my WGDGS runs out.

  11. Re: Meguiar's Ruined my Gauge Cluster (Photo in thread)

Glad you got it sorted out. I second the rinseless solution on a slightly damp microfiber. I use that on most interior surfaces.

  12. Re: Meguiar's Ruined my Gauge Cluster (Photo in thread)

I donít think an interior detailer would etch plastic. Itís probably just dried on there. Iím sure someone can recommend something that would remove that. Did you try glass cleaner?

Re: First Detailing Attempt - Need Assistance

This. Youíll need a machine if you want to do this right. Itís not terribly expensive, and if you like playing with cars, itís a great investment.

Re: Anyone else jack themselves up detailing?

Iím 46 and I always hurt after detailing. Horrible back (bulging disks) and one weird knee will do that. Canít wait for 50!

Hope ur feeling better. Get well soon.

Re: Duragloss 601 Helps or Hinders Layering?

Have you considered the two step process? 601, allow to haze, then 111 on after? I do it this way, and I canít imagine layering is going to do much for you, other than maybe ensure full coverage. I...

Iíll get some better pics later or maybe a walk around. Got done late. Still shots donít really capture the reality of the finish... especially on the color of my car.

Re: Fuzion paste wax help on black........

Question for the group and Mike specifically. You said to let the wax dry. Reading the directions on the AG website, it doesnít sound like you let it dry (one section at a time, apply, remove).

  25. Re: Pads: Recommendations, cleaning/maintenance and quantity for daily driver?

One note for sure... you donít have enough pads. You should probably have 6 of the pads that you plan to use for your whole car.

Iíve gotten to the point that I use orange pads for most work, so...
