Re: My FLEX 3401 - Is this Normal??

I see the Blackfire One Step gets good reviews, says it has a bit more cut than 3D Speed. Good luck with the upcoming project! Thanks again for all the info!

Thanks for the info and recommendations Mike!
It's funny you mention the LC Orange Force Hybrid Foam Cutting pads. I placed an order late last week for a six pack, three of which were the orange. ...

Thanks for the reply, Mike. I know it sounds trivial, but I feel honored having you reply to a post of mine.

My FLEX 3401 - Is this Normal??

    Hey Everyone,

I've owned my FLEX since 2008. I'm just a hobbyist and use it on my own vehicles. I'd say I have less than 50 hours on it total. Anyway, I have some concerns about the felt ring...

Re: headlight restoration: 3M or Meguiars kit

I've produced good results with the 3M kit, but I have not used the Meg's stuff. You could also get some wet sandpaper from Home Depot or any other big box store. I've used 400, 600, and 2000 grit....

I've tried the spray wax and that works well. I'd love to try the Deep Gloss Paint Sealant and the Fuzion wax!

    Re: Help with my leather!

I've used CG leather cleaner undiluted in the past with no issues. The APC+ cleaned the leather much better, but maybe at the expense of the leather itself. :( I've has the car 4 yrs and when I...

    Re: Help with my leather!

Is there anyway that I took the color off? Forgive my ignorance, but I was thinking worst case scenerio and that it's not just a stain.
I have Chemical Guys leather cleaner, but the APC+ worked...

    Re: Help with my leather!

    It's a 99' 528i.

Correct, I used the APC+ to clean it, then Chemical Guys Leather conditioner after that. I did all my leather and just that one area is an issue.

    Help with my leather!

I detailed my interior the other day(Sunday). I have APC+, diluted 12:1. Cleaned the leather with that and one area in my backseat now has faded/spotted. See the pic. It was worse when it was...

    Problems with Meg's 105

I have Meg's 105 and 205. I've used them both on both of my cars. I've used the 105 with an orange pad, but it always seems to dry out / clump up on me. I don't have that problem with the 205,...
