    Re: Interior products.

Well, before the (maybe) delete the link, Todd's new "favorite" interior detailer is the new one from Gyeon.

Re: SONAX Glass Cleaner as a Prep Wash

Mike, I currently use the Sonax glass cleaner for my cars...but for cleaning.....glass. I would have never thought to used them for anything else and actually, if some spray got on my paint I would...

    Re: Interior products.

Currently using PBL Vinyl and Leather Coating but I have used Griots, Herrenfahrts, Nextzett's interior detailers - all are low sheen, apply and wipe off easily, seem to repel dust and all except...

Re: Going to help a friend detail their new SUV

Thanks guys, I still haven't decided, but I'm considering CQUARTZ UK 3.0, Glassparency Graphene as well as the last one I used on my CX-5 - Fictech- which is so very easy to apply.

    Re: 2020 Porsche Macan S

I'm aware that it's an Alpha, not a Fiat, but I was speaking of Italian cars in general and though gorgeous - and that's a beauty pictured above, for my comfort level, the reliability justy isn't...

    Re: 2020 Porsche Macan S

Well, those are nice looking cars - are most Italian cars - got that certain flare about them, but high on my list of requirements is reliability and unfortunately, it seems that the Italian cars...

    Re: Power to remove.

Oh, the answer's easy - 14oz instead of 16oz ice cream containers. Now, that's evil.

Don't want to get too far off the OP's post, but....

So last night I stopped at a local ice cream store -...

    Re: 2020 Porsche Macan S

Wonderful job - as always, even though I'm not a fan of white. A few ago, I bought 2016 Macan S and yeah, Porsche did the right thing and the needed thing entering into that market. It was a tight...

Re: Going to help a friend detail their new SUV

My friend wants to do a coating, money isn't an issue - unless it's crazy expensive. Ease of application (not looking for a finicky one) and longevity are top priorities.

    Re: The best waterless wash

I usually do a Rinseless, but if the car is just dusty and no dirt baked on, sometimes I do a WW with Ultima WW. Lots of lubrication, used with proper towels and technique, I have not gotten any...

    Hey Mike,

If that question is directed to me, I don't have any coatings left.

Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Well, not today but this week. Washed my CX-5 with Carpro Reset, then kinda did an experiment. I topped one side the Fictech Gliss (sealant/topper) and the other side with PA Cosmic Spritz. I don't...

Going to help a friend detail their new SUV

So, one of my friends wants to have his new Toyota SUV coated and so I offered to help him. I'm not sure, but don't think PPF is in his budget, so I will take that off the table. He wants something...

Re: Windshield coating - skipping wipers (new car)

    Mike,

Curious why you don't use this Pinnacle Black Label Diamond Glass Coating on the glass, instead of PBL Surface Coating?

    Re: Door sill plates anyone?

Thanks all. Just to double back a bit. Would PPF work for the plastic area above the sills, which almost always get scuffed?

Re: Carpro Clarify - initial review

Agree. This is a great community! But it would be a pretty sad day if we start getting into arguments about glass cleaners.

Anyone adding aftermarket door sill plates for protection? If so, is that tape/glue strong enough to hold them tight enough in place so they don't get pulled up by a quick/ careless entry/exit? Also,...
