  1. Re: Optimum Opti-Bond still a relevant tire dressing?

Opti-Bond 1:1 is what I use. I've tried several others but always go back to it.
  2. Re: How best to negotiate with dealer for new car price ?

Always buy at month end or quarter end when dealerships are trying to meet sales goals. Also, use edmunds website to figure out invoice pricing (at least pretty close). Don't ask what they will...

Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Rinseless wash and coated my new Honda Lawnmower with CP DLUX. My wife thinks I need to get my head examined.

    Re: Foaming wheel cleaner

I have a gallon with the same issue. Continuously clogs up sprayers. It has been sitting for some time now because I gave up on it and moved to something different.

  6. Re: How To Use Carpro Reload on Black car with ppf

Like Guz said, use two mf towels. Spray Reload on one panel and give one mf towel a spray to use with spreading out the product. After spreading the Reload over the panel, take the second mf towel...

Less. 3-4 pea sized drops when using as a finishing polish.

Re: CG V36 versus CarPro Reflect

Test spots with both and see what gets the results you're looking for. Reflect is a great finishing polish but not much cut.

Re: BF One Step cure time?

I polish the whole car with it and wait about an hour after finishing to wipe it off. I don't know if it's right or wrong but it works well for me.

Outstanding work! Man that thing looks nice now.
  12. Re: Has anyone diluted Carpro Reload to help minimize potenail for streaking?

I wouldn’t dilute Reload. I’ve been using it for several years without any streaking issues. Give your mf towel a spray, spray on the panel, wipe the panel with mf and then follow with clean mf...
  13. Re: Pad recommendations for Menzerna heavy cut compound. (FG400)

Keep your speed down with FG400 for the best experience. Running over speed 4 will likely cause dusting, it performs best in the 3 to 4 range.

Re: Correct Technique for MEnzerna products

What speed are you running your GG DA at with FG400? FG400 works best at slower speeds - 3 to 4 and you shouldn't get the dusting.
