    Re: Drying Towel Scratches

No need for a drying aid with PFMs. They absorb that well

    Re: Drying Towel Scratches

I'm really surprised to hear this since I used a PFM, which is about two years old, yesterday with no problems. I'm still amazed at how well it soaks up water.

    Re: CarPro Clarify

I use my D120 around the house: on mirrors and appliance surfaces. Seems to work better on those than car glass.

    Re: CarPro Clarify

That sounds like me too. I just have the glass to deal with. That needs attention whether the car is garaged or not.

    Re: Drying Towel Scratches

With the PFM it's one swipe and the water is absorbed. I've never had a drying towel work so well

Re: The Clearcoat Failure Photo Gallery Archive

The thought of my Accord getting such clear coat failure horrifies me. That's why I always garage it and religiously apply a LSP

Re: What is liquid glass ?

Liquid Glass was the first LSP I used. Nice gloss. The Corvette people used to swear by it.

I was lucky enough to see Brubeck in concert before he died.

    Re: Drying Towel Scratches

I'd switch to something like a PFM towel. The idea of the Guzzler never appealed to me
  12. Re: Meg's D120 Finally Running Out....What To Choose For My Next Glass Cleaner?

Okay thank you for the suggestions! Hopefully they will knock out this haze.
  13. Re: Meg's D120 Finally Running Out....What To Choose For My Next Glass Cleaner?

I will be sure to do it that way. Thanks!
  14. Re: Meg's D120 Finally Running Out....What To Choose For My Next Glass Cleaner?

It's both actually. I quit dressing my interior long ago in effort to stop it but that didn't help. I've only tried three cleaners on it so far so if Clarify doesn't do it, I'm going to polish both...
  15. Re: Meg's D120 Finally Running Out....What To Choose For My Next Glass Cleaner?

I would buy more but it isnít clearing up my haze. Iím eyeing Clarify and Griotís Glass Polish as a last resort.

Re: How often is too much for waxing.?

Well Iím in Florida and use a hybrid wax, Fuzion It lasts me three to four months. That said, my car isnít outside 24/7.
  17. Re: Meg's D120 Finally Running Out....What To Choose For My Next Glass Cleaner?

I was going to get the Nextzett but then I heard such good things about Clarify. I just want the haze on my glass cleared up once and for all
  18. Re: Meg's D120 Finally Running Out....What To Choose For My Next Glass Cleaner?

I'm in the same boat. I'm going to get Car Pro Clarify. I sure hope it clears up the relentless haze on my glass

    Re: Rinseless wash question

I use mitts with a traditonal wash and I usually put my used mitts in my utility sink (I wash inside my garage)

    Re: Rinseless wash question

I don't do RWs but I do use a fresh mitt per panel. I never had the need to have buckets or grit guards.

Re: Getting BF One Step out of pads

I used a black Sharpie to label the back of my pads with what product I used them with. Boy, do we have to have a ton of pads each used with one specific product.
