I bought this 2 years ago and right out of the box the lens holder kept falling off. I sent it back and they said they will give me a new one that doesn't have that problem, nope, kept falling off....
I've never had a problem like this. It's your technique. Your generating to much heat. work smaller areas and work shorter times.
I've had my Bigfoot since they came out. Sure a few pads get torn...
oh god no! well water is only for your lawn. if your going to use it for anything else you'll need a filter and a UV light to kill bacteria if your going to drink it. For your cars get a DI Filter,...
I say get a van. even if you planning on not bringing much. you can put lot's of stuff in a van and lock it up. ladders, scaffolding and the like won't fit in a small car. also your not filtering...
Thanks again Mike for your awesome information!
Ill be using this on Barbra Mandrell's (or one of her sisters) 1958 MG in a couple of weeks.
I can't wait to see the results!
Well that's a better reply than I got last week.
I was stationed in Tx in the nineties and have gone there a few times for work so I kinda know the area.
Come July I'll start advertising and book...
I'm moving to the Carrollton area in a few months due to the Ca Car Wash Bond killing my business here in So. Cal.
I've contacted a couple of detailers in Dallas and they are all scared of me...
I can't stand the idea of using wool to wash with or use one wash mitt over and over and over and over.
Wool is for cutting deep into the paint so why would you use this to wash a car with?
I use...
your trying to remove years of EMBEDDED dirt which is virtually impossible without spending hours and hours on it.
after a good cleaning I use Hyper dressing. spray it on and let it set in the sun....
you don't.
that's in the paint. as in part of it.
sand the heck out of it but it's way close to the edges so that might not be an option.
Next compound the heck out of it and maybe you can make it...
you don't need that unless your washing 100's and 100's of cars a day.
I've always use cheap little electric ones and they work fine for years and years.
I have never seen the reason to spend...
I just don't understand why every single detailer out there sets up the "work area" like this.
Put your PW, compressor and generator in the "dead" areas, (the back).
These have hoses that will go...
you have to get "sand snakes" a big wet dry vac and a "berm" about $500 for the whole set up and that's on the cheep side.
You can use a 55 gal drum too,
another option is to use a rinseless wash.
you only need a pump if your using a cheap little electric pw that relies on pressure from the supply. Gas powered Eco distroying pws will su ck the water from your tank with no problem
another...
