Just made the switch over to play station 3 so I could play with my local friends.

    Re: Removing the Seats

One of my local car club buddies had a detailer remove his seats, and he dropped one coming out. Seat rail touched the car and left a pretty good gouge that will need repaint. I've had someone ask me...

Re: What brush or product do you use...

If you can find the ammo brush thread, I use one of those. Glue brush if you just want to google it for a pic. In tiny areas I use q tips.

    Re: Hello from Murfreesboro, TN

Welcome from a guy who got severely lost in Murfeesboro!

Was at the Nashville skate park and decided to check out the one there. That's a heck of a trip when garmin takes you down I65 then over...

Re: Few Correction Jobs I did recently

Looks good man! I think the red is a bit more dramatic than the black, which is hard to do. Both were pretty hammered though, especially the spoiler of that Audi (think it was the spoiler)

    You've...

    Re: lady luck struck

    Congrats!

Hourly is steady and low, but half is variable and would kinda suck IMO. You are doing 100% of the work and giving half away because of his name. However, I would suggest going the 1/2...

    Re: 1997 Toyota Supra

Nice! When I get to being an "adult" instead of being a college student I will have to make a very hard decision. Supra or NSX. They are both pretty equal to me and I'd honestly rather own either...

    Re: AG vs Autopia?

Are they both in FL? I tried looking at their contact info and it didn't say.

I look over there, but post here. Todd is very active on the forums though. He does great product evaluations. (Not...

Re: Most Aggressive "One Step" Polish?

Carpro fixer is my current go to. I'be never tried the other ones mentioned though. Fg400 is high on my list for new AG order though.

    Re: Help guys !

I always run on speed 5 or 6. Did you mark the backing plate to ensure it is spinning? If it's not then you aren't doing any work. I would bet it's your technique rather than product.

    3-4 small...

Mike shows how to do it, but hit forum and scroll to the bottom. It's just above the active users. Still 7k+ away.

    Re: It's SO dirty!!

It really is, the car was designed to have a plate in a specific area. And you live in an area (and will more than likely continue to live there) which requires a front plate. If I lived in a state...

Re: Some recent work, various things

I was pretty sure I was going to get Black Label in a few weeks when I run out of my current leather treatment. Now I'm going to have to strongly reconsider.

More visually appealing if it was left to right (like reading) by line. Work looks great though!

    Re: Help with product recommendations

1.) I only have experience with fixer and reflect and the cut is amazing! It is hard to remove though.
2.) I like the klasse twins
    3.) Americana or Ammo
    4.) No input
    5.) Klasse is a better...

Re: Ultimate compound to Wax (2 stage)?

I've been using carpro fixer lately as a one step and change up pads based on the harshness needed.

I don't use any smat products so I'm just wondering if maybe you should be looking into that...

Why not try to find shampoo bottles for air travel. It's smaller that 8oz (3.4 or 100ml iirc)?
  24. Re: Help Me Put Together A Porter Cable Kit! Before Sale Runs Out

You'll need to add a smaller backing plate as well. If backing plate hands out or is right on the edge and you make a mistake where the plate touches the paint you will hate yourself. Smaller backing...
  25. Re: Help Me Put Together A Porter Cable Kit! Before Sale Runs Out

One pad will not do a car. For someone new and a big-ish car (it's not a miata) I think 2 is a minimum and would really recommend 3. You will add too much polish to the pad until you figure it out,...
