Re: CEEDOG deserves the big one!

Yeah because either of those were personal attacks.....

Re: CEEDOG deserves the big one!

well deserved, and well overdue! Congrats Corey! it's just a shame that the "judges" couldn't have made this happen at DF. It just goes to show that so called "pros" don't always know whats best. ...
  3. Re: Paint cleaners vs AIO products? What cleans better?

It depends what you are trying to do. You can't say you only use PC's or AOI's. they both have their place.

If I have a car that isn't in need of correction, but I am going to wax I would use...

Re: Shampoo Plus vs. Duragloss 901

I asked a legitimate question, and was explaining why I asked the question since his original post was worded odd. I'm not over analyzing anything, my answer to the question would be different...

Re: Shampoo Plus vs. Duragloss 901

You didn't say try, you said switch to. I could only take that to mean you were going to be giving up one and replace it with the other.
  6. Re: Now we all know that dish wash is bad for your car, how about the reverse?

I would tend to agree that how you protect the trim is more important than what you clean with with.

Re: OK Mike.... I've got to ask....

I'm confused by this thread on so many levels......

    1. What does this have to do with detailing?
    2. Why do you care what clothes someone wears?
    3. What would you prefer that they wear? Spandex...

    Re: Is this clearcoat failure?

If it's his car though and not one to be flipped, it would probably better to get it fixed properly.

Re: Shampoo Plus vs. Duragloss 901

I'm confused about why you want to switch from a shampoo you use and like to one that you have never used before...
  15. Re: Now we all know that dish wash is bad for your car, how about the reverse?

Some say if used too often it will dry out the plastic trim on your car and make it fade. I choose not to use dawn ,but I've never seen any adverse affects myself.
  16. Re: Sully's Detailing: SL 500 (Over Spray Removal)

Depends a lot on the paint. I've gone from wool to tangerine before with no problems at all. however other vehicles I've had to do wool, cyan, tangerine, crimson to get it to finish down well.
