    Re: Duragloss 921/Aquawax Mix

I like this idea- but doesnt the DG 931 already have Aquawax in it?
  2. Re: Foam Cannon and Pressure washer, Which ones do you use?

I have a 2600psi Troybilt gas unit and a cheap Amazon foam gun

Whooaa does that setup make some foam. It's quite impressive.

I'm sure the more expensive units at AG are better...

  4. Re: Paint thickness readings-please give yiour opinion

It works fine- maybe an iPhone user since it says he is using the mobile app?

Maybe just copy and paste the link into your browser.

Anyways, it shows that it removed about 18% of the clear...

Re: WDGPS review and durability update

That durability doesn't surprise me. It's a great sealant and they don't get enough credit anymore.

    That car is awesome!
  6. Re: black fire fire over ice application and cure time questions

This is a really good summary on how to work with this combo.
  7. Re: Paint thickness readings-please give yiour opinion

I think you have a bit of room for some polishing, but I wouldn't compound it every year, or anything like that.

Here is my write-up on how much clear coat is removed, using a paint thickness...
  8. Re: black fire fire over ice application and cure time questions

Todd said this 6 years ago at the other forum:

"In most conditions, BFWD should achieve 100% curing in under an hour. However in extreme climates combined with over application it could...
  9. Re: Whats better then Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealant 3.0?

Along with WGDGPS, I'd suggest Blackfire Wet Diamond as a top-tier sealant.

Super easy to work and looks just plain awesome.

    Re: New FLEX leaked...

These truly are the salad days of polshers.

Makes it awfully hard for a weekend warrior like myself to choose just one to buy

Any chance you have used DP Max Wax? Is it similar?

Re: Anyone here using a leaf blower for drying?

    I use my Stihl SH-86 blower/vac.

It really is a multi use tool, which is partly how I justified it.

I think 169 mph, and it's a true commercial machine. It's not quiet as an electric model,...

Re: What computer are you using?

    Mine is a Dell XPS with i7 3770, 8GB RAM, and a Nvidia GTX 1060 3GB.

Its time for a SSD, I do believe. Unfortunatley, I have a bout 800GB used on my current HDD, and dont want to pony up for an...

    Re: School me on extractors

I got a Bissell Little Green Pro Heat that I had wanted for years and it really is just a poor combination of a heater, spray bottle and vacuum.

It's basically more effective to spray your chems...

    That's the most important thing.
  19. Re: Post Your Most Uneducated Comments Ever Received In Detailing History

I've heard the ol "I used to use Pledge on my cars in the 70's" about a hundred times.

Car paint is one of the subjects that everyone is a an expert on and gets tons of unsolicited opinions.

Re: Mckee's High Def Paint Sealant Review

    That is interesting.
I'd really like to hear some new scientific information about the curing time and process instead of the same old tired "24 hours" story.

    Edit- spelling

Re: Mckees 37 - New Products!

I saw that- I'm always a sucker for a good sealant. If it's similar to the DP poli-coat (which I bet it is) they have a winner on their hands.
