Re: Wash or dry after clay bar?

Immolube is nice. From using it creates suds when using a clay mitt. Not so much with a clay bar. At the same time it leaves residue behind but also a sticky feeling on the towels or on the hand. ...
  3. Re: Leather protection: Gyeon Leather Coat or Ultima Interior Guard Plus

I have never let it sit that long. 5 minutes at most and have not had any streaking issues. I just used it on my seats last week as a matter of fact.
  4. Re: Leather protection: Gyeon Leather Coat or Ultima Interior Guard Plus

Never had an issue with it streaking. I apply it to an entire section come back and wipe it off and it is good to go. I have used it with a foam and microfiber applicator.
  5. Re: Leather protection: Gyeon Leather Coat or Ultima Interior Guard Plus

I have never had Gyeon Leather Coat streak. Are you wiping off any excess product?
  6. Re: How long to wait before using paint sealant on new cars?

New car - no wait time

    Repaint- wait time
  7. Re: How long to wait before using paint sealant on new cars?

A new car can be sealed right away. It is a different process than repainting.

  9. Re: Klasse Kit VS. Pinnacle Black Label Diamond Coating Elite Kit

Pinnacle Black Label is as easy as it gets with application. It is really hard to mess up the application of it. One other benefit is the quantity will last for a long time so you can use it for...

Re: New mid engine Corvette. July 18th.

I saw it in person at the OC auto show last week. It looks good. The color they had there was ugly but the style of car looked good.

    Re: Coating bare aluminum wheels?

A coating works but the wheel will still oxidize. Just a slower rate.

I agree with this. Itís a great product and Iíve gone back to this on bare metal.

Dude take a deep breath and relax. No reason to let some of these members get to you. You have to roll with the punches and let it go. Life is not fun if everything is taken so serious.

re: Pinnacle Black Label Leather Balm Review

Hey Pat, this is a nice write up. You may want to change the title to the Pinnacle Black Label rather than Blackfire.

    Thanks.

Thanks. The particles were embedded pretty deep over the years. Most of them are gone.

    Thanks.

    Thanks Mike.

It has 4 nuts on the outer edges (2 on each side). The trim is held in with about 6 or 8 push pins.

    Re: Marred Ceramic coating

This is why many recommend to not clay a coating and recommend a chemical decon instead.

As mentioned Essence Plus was designed for that.

Re: Sometimes itís not about being perfect.

I was referring to optimum clear coat restorer. It wonít mask any failed clear coat or begging of clear coat failure. The failed areas wonít absorb the product and it wonít make it look any better....

Re: Caked on brake dust removal

Meguiar's Hot Rims Chrome Cleaner is on the acidic side. It is safe on the wheels as long as they are clear coated. It will require some agitation.

Re: I Screwed up and how to fix it

I never used it but I thought it did not do much to remove anything. I believe Loach (aka waxmode) has a video on his channel.

It will not do anything for failed clear coat or clear coat that is on the verge of failing. Speaking from experience.

Re: I Screwed up and how to fix it

Reset should be good enough. If you want to increase its cleaning power you can add a little more Reset into your wash bucket.
