    Thanks for the update!

I placed an order recently, and will continue to support the fine folks at Autogeek.

  3. Re: Review: Wolfgang Concours-Series Microfiber Towels - 1988 Porsche 928 s4

    Another good article, Mike.

The car looks stunning! Fuzion. Gosh, haven't used that in years. I commented on Autopia's IG page that I was thinking of using it on a neighbor's car for free, just...
  4. Re: And now for something completely different - a little levity in light of the current issues of the day

OH WOW ! ! I LOVE Eric's truck. My wife would absolutely love that thing. It's massive by today's standards. I'm sure it was more so back in the good old days.

    Totally agree. Haven't...
  5. Re: DP Dual Action Tire & Wheeler Cleaner Review

If it ain't broke, why fix it :)

Sounds like it did a good job!

    hehe....I'm space sensitive!
  6. Re: And now for something completely different - a little levity in light of the current issues of the day

Oh man! LOL You're too much, Mike. :)

Great spot. That thing is heavy enough to sit solidly as it crosses the water. And to keep a good momentum while moving forward.

    I do anticipate some type...
  7. Re: Griot's Garage G15/G21 Long-Throw Orbital Polisher *Ground-Up Redesign*

Might just be preference. One member put aside his BOSS G15 and is now using his G9 almost exclusively.

I have a G15, but prefer the 8mm throw Flex 3401, but in that case, it's because of the...

Re: Mega tools! So many polisher choices!

OH MY GOODNESS. SOOOOO many tools. When you put them all like that, side by side, it's insane how many options we have.

Nothing like trying them out first hand, before you buy! That's for sure....
  9. Re: Griot's Garage 3" Mini Polisher for Wetsanding Class

That being said....I'm glad I didn't sell mine off. (was planning to shortly after the G8 came out)
  10. Re: anyone got a step by step on wet sanding and buffing a whole vehicle?

That's the one. I eventually just saved a copy of it on my PC. Not sure where I saved it. hehe. Switched computers, reformatted...etc.

I wouldn't doubt it. Several of the "firsts" I've seen...
  11. Re: anyone got a step by step on wet sanding and buffing a whole vehicle?

I learned a lot from watching the time lapse video of Mike's wet sanding project seen here 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu Convertible Wetsanding Project Though, I'm not sure where the video is!...
  12. Re: Griot's Garage 3" Mini Polisher for Wetsanding Class

I didn't take his class, but from one of Mike's threads, I bought one too, for use with 3" sanding discs. It's been great.

Once BOSS line came out, I think it helped make the Peanut even more...

Re: Suggestions For Best ALL Around Final Wax

Gotta agree with Bob on this. For what you want, this fits the bill. I haven't tested the UV claims, but it's why I'd use it.

One Step is a great AIO. I really enjoy using this one. I'll...

Nothing wrong with Rupes, but don't go there just because others do! If you like Flex more, stick with Flex. :)
Sorry to hear about your 3401 :( I'd be [extremely upset]

Re: The Hobbits are out, the PiXiEs are IN!!!

Totally agree. If I did it daily, I would.

But, I only do limited work. So, it will have to wait.

I'm considering selling off a machine or two, though!! That could help :)

Re: The Hobbits are out, the PiXiEs are IN!!!

Thanks, bud! Nice "review" of this wonderful little guy. I'm not sure I want it more, though. I mean, I was already at MAX WANT mode. Now I'm just pegging the needle in the red. haha

    That clear...
  23. Re: If you could only use two or three product lines for all your detailing needs, what would you choose?

I hear you on this. It's why I've bought less and less products over time. I have WAY too much stuff!

I'm a bit of an oddball, judging from all the posts

    My three (for chemicals):

    Re: Car Dryers

what about using one of the several spray on / rinse off options, like Blackfire's Hydro Seal? This will add protection, and make drying easier.
You can "upsell" it for a few bucks.
  25. Re: ONR vs Foam and Wash - If you could do either which would you choose?

Water restrictions in California had me doing mostly rinseless. Occasional waterless for a long time

I did a traditional wash again, and was reminded of how much I missed the experience. Now, I...
