    Re: Suggestion for new car

Depends on what you are looking for. Are you looking to get into a full blown coating or a coating lite.

From a coating lite perspective Gyeon CanCoat or Cquartz Lite. Lite has the edge on...

    Re: CQuartz and Glassparency Questions

Try taking a little glass cleaner on a towel and clean your blades. See if that helps. I had glassparency at one point and didn't have that issue.

    Removing old coating over vinyl

    Yes that’s what I mean.

Gtechniq, Cquartz and Gyeon have vinyl specific coatings which are suitable for matte/satin.

Re: Removing old coating over vinyl

If its gloss vinyl a light polish is fine. Matte vinyl can be a little tricky as polishing will gloss it up. If you want to recoat matte vinyl, prep wipe and re-coat.

    Re: Rupes Mille Review

You could swap out the power cord to one of their shorter ones. I did that with their mini that had the long cord on it.

    Re: New leather seat care

I would suggest the colourlock products. With it being new leather shield would be what to use. As the leather ages use protector and top with leather shield.

Re: Best coating for chrome wheels?

I had better results with DLUX compared to those other two you mentioned. 22ple VM1 has given me the best performance of any of these.

Chrome sometimes doesn’t take well to coatings.

Re: Black & tan trim restoration

Solution Finish would be my choice to restore the trim once clean and prepped. Then you can top it with WETS.
  11. Re: How to tell if ceramic coating is failing (regular toppers)

I wouldn’t worry too much about it. Enjoy the weekly maintenance regiment with the occasional chemical decontamination.

You will know when it’s time to polish and re-coat as you will get those...

    Re: Drying Towel Scratches

This is one of the risks of washing after correction with the potential to marr the paint. I doubt it is the towels as I have used those Guzzlers in the past without any issues. Unless there was...

Yes and it was mentioned in this weeks live video on AG's youtube channel that this is a sheeting type product.
  15. Re: Leather care - conditioner, sealant, coating or water?

Colourlock is good stuff. Their basic recommendation is leather 3 years or older go with their protector. Can be topped with shield the following day to add abrasion resistance and dye transfer...
  16. Re: Meg's D120 Finally Running Out....What To Choose For My Next Glass Cleaner?

Get yourself some McKee’s 37 20/20 cockpit glass cleaner to polish the inside of the glass. Adams brilliant glaze is another thing that works good on front glass.

You will enjoy it. It is good.
  18. Glossiest ceramic coating for interior plastic

These leather coatings I linked in the reviews offer UV protection if UV is a concern. A majority of modern day glass blocks out UV. If you like to use 303 or an interior detailer then keep using...

  20. Re: Glossiest ceramic coating for interior plastic

I had my entire dash coated at one point and it held up really well. It didn’t attract dust.

If you top it you will be back where you started with dusting. My advice would be to just wipe it...
  21. Re: Glossiest ceramic coating for interior plastic

None are going to give gloss. Interior coating will darken at best.

Here are a couple photos of me testing a few on my dash. Cquartz 2.0 looks even better than the previous version.

Re: Anyone use Car Pro Lift?

I have used it. It works ok. I personally don’t have a need for it but it seems to work fine.

Don’t expect the pH to be high on it. It also won’t damage a coating at the pH level I measured at...
