    Re: Leather care

For new leather any quality PBMA leather product will work fine. For old neglected leather, Leather Honey works pretty well. I think Leather Masters gets good reviews as well.

    Re: 303 Graphene Spray Detailer

A lot of the this lasts X amount of time has no real validity due to constant product layering due to toppers.
  5. Re: Anyone have an old Griots GG3 they want to sell me? :)

I'd suggest switching to spray sealants. Work smarter, not harder. I've never felt that using a machine to apply wax was easier than by hand unless someone was working on serious sized real estate.

Re: CarPro Reset or Megs HyperWash?

McKees wash is pretty darn good.
  7. Re: does anyone keep a jump starter in their vehicle(s)?

Get a CTek battery charger and keep the battery charged.

Re: Microfiber pads - your experience?

Griots Fast Finishing MF pads work great as a light cut pad with a mild polish.

    Re: 303 Graphene

What are you using to wash? If using a SIO2 wash you are likely seeing the wash refreshing a worn out 303 application.
  11. Re: Adding Griots Ceramic 3-in-1 to Griots Ceramic Speed Shine - Boosting Speed Shine?

I bought a couple packs of the Griots looped towels. The rectangular one can pretty much dry a small car.
  12. Re: Throwback Thoughts: Favorite Detailing Product of Old?

I bought 4 or 5 cans of CD2. Still have a few. I use it about once a year on my car.

Re: Chemical Guys Mr. Pink dilution

I thought NXT wash worked great but I haven't seen it for ages.
  14. Re: What's everyone's thoughts on the Covid-19 situation?

I have doubts that paper masks are all that effective. I've seen videos of people vaping through them and they don't look as if they stop much water vapor. I think it's more hype than substance.

Re: Best Brand Top to Bottom

I'd vote Duragloss as the most complete, affordable brand. I have favorites from several different brands.
  18. Re: what is the best finishing polish "hands down" in your opinion???

That's the trade secret oils. Personally, I find Meguiars polishes to be harder to use and remove than the Griots yellow bottle stuff and the Boss stuff is probably better than that.

Re: Which paste wax is easiest to remove???

It looked really nice but lasted all of about 2 weeks.
  20. Re: Underrated/Overlooked: Meguiar’s Hybrid Paint Coating

Note: their is some concern regarding the use of graphene in some newer products as well. Kind of similar to silica that use to be fairly common in polishes.

Re: Is this a nornal feature of Glaze?

Back in the single stage paint days, glazes were oily and shined up the paint. The modern glazes are more like a concealing sealant.

    Re: "The Carini Collection"

I bought a bottle of McKees SIO2 soap. Pretty nice product. I think Amazon is probably their biggest retail spot. But I agree, the line seems oversaturated.

Re: Is this a nornal feature of Glaze?

I think it's mostly some type of mineral oil.
