Re: Why am I getting these water spots?

I have and use Optimum CW. It is a very good, clean rinsing car soap.

And about the ONR in the wash bucket: I too had this brilliant idea years back. (Hey! I can add a little ONR to soften the...

    Re: Good'ol Dealership and detailing

    I work at a dealership.

The "detailing" they do is for the 99% of people who don't know a swirl from a squirrel like Mike says.

I can't even look at the "detail" guys as they are marring the...
  6. Re: I have harbor freight 12v Water transfer pump issues

If you let the pump freeze, you most certainly will have performance issues. As in no performance at all. Lol

I'd look into ShurFlo or Jabsco pumps as well.

And make sure to run non-tox...

  9. Re: I have harbor freight 12v Water transfer pump issues

    Welcome to AGO. :)

I'm not familiar with any of the HF 12v transfer pumps. What type of impeller does it have?

    Diaphragm? Rubber vaned?

If the pump is running, I would first check that...
  10. Re: 2 bucket wash with WG SI02 Coating Wash and ONR

    Ok. I get it now.

Your OP was sounding like you didn't use a hose. ;)
  11. Re: 2 bucket wash with WG SI02 Coating Wash and ONR

So you just took the WG-infused mitts right to the contaminated paint with no pre-soak?
  12. Re: opinions on 3 potential logos for my business?

Seems like Ric was just trying to give you a good tip here.

Not a very Autogeek forum member response.

I think we all feel that you should do just that and leave the sniping comments...

Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

His power cord fried a while back.

I offered to fix it, but Ric didn't want to drive the 2,500 miles I guess............ ;)
  14. Re: Are Ceramic-Infused Sealants and Detailing Products Safe to Use?

IMO, if you are concerned about these (or any products), simply use the appropriate mask or respirator while applying them.

Me? I don't worry about it at all.

    These products were deemed safe...

Re: Griot's Garage Rinseless Wash & Wax info?

I have used up a bottle of ONR, then Griot's RW&W, and finally used up my bottle of Uber.

I actually think that the way ONR traps (encapsulates) dirt particles is pretty amazing, and I still use...

Re: Decal removal - when is it to late?

Are you talking about the color "Magnetic"?

That is a really nice paint color, and also very forgiving.

I wouldn't hesitate to remove the FX4 decals. If Mdjas removed 14 year-old badges on...

Re: Turtle Wax Ceramic Wet Wax (Mini-Review)

I'll try new things on occasion, but to be honest I will not just dive into a whole new line of products based solely on price.

I have way too many products that I am completely satisfied with...
