    Can't say for sure, but I'd think the same. I'd expect some degrading of the wax and would only use iron remover prior to applying new layer of LSP (or polishing, etc)

    The OEM ones on my Cherokee were worse. Luckily, I wanted to upgrade to wider Aluminum wheels, so I got rid of them.

    To add, I have tried, and will continue to use it in the future, D300 on Megs MF Cut pads. Light pressure has worked for me.
