Re: Best Carnauba wax for shine/gloss red car !

Maybe because they don't use the buzzword "graphene" - hehe

I have all the Poorboy's waxes, I think. Love them. So easy to use, even on hot panels.

    I've recently been playing with...

At about the 56 second mark, that's the Blackfire Black Edition. At about 1:08, that's the "regular" BF coating.

Last washed 17 days prior to this video. Video was made last night with a...
  3. Re: Blackfire Pro Ceramic Coating, "Black Edition".

I always understood that your "paint" will take on the characteristics of whatever is on the very top.

Tom, sorry you're having this experience, which seems different from mine. I'll have to do...

  6. Re: Review: BLACKFIRE Iron Remover by Mike Phillips

There are two camps on this. Both have decent arguments.

I used to do the double wash, but now I just iron decon before any wash to save time

    Re: Polisher for weekend warrior

I thought the same with my GG3. It wasn't the bearing, but the housing part that holds it. See the pic.

I called Griot's as well, but in my case, I think they wanted my old tool plus some money...
  8. Re: Review: BLACKFIRE Iron Remover by Mike Phillips

    Thank you!

Been eying it. Good price point and BF products have been good to me. Once I'm running low on my other gallon, I'll give it a shot.
  9. Re: PIXIE (PXE 80) as replacement for Rupes Mini

I think someone sold off his Mini after getting PXE.

And yes. You can run 1" pads as well as the 3"

    Re: Polisher for weekend warrior

The "feel" of the MT300 is quite nice for me. I'm a short dude at 5'6" - and it feels light, and nimble.

HOWEVER, After having a taste for direct drive (Flex 3401) back before the Mille was...

    Exactly.

it's coming up for me to. Just did one, and will be doing a few more soon enough.

Thanks for the reminder! (Although, I'm kind of in the habit of doing that before every detail I plan on using...

  16. Re: Why I call the FLEX 3401 the BEAST! by Mike Phillips

I seen someone do something like that.

Or maybe some company can reproduce them? If the demand was high enough, im sure LC would make them. Doubtful of the demand, with so many liking long throw...

  20. Re: Blackfire pro ceramic vs Blackfire pro ceramic black edition

I've "sampled" both and would give the edge (after 3 months) to Black Edition.

Both, so far, are good, though. Black Edition does produce better beads, and I want to say it sheets off water a bit...
  21. Re: Taping off for polishing - Picking up glue

one thing I do, is I take a length of tape, 1, 2, 3 feet, whatever, and stick it to my CLEAN shirt. Pull it off, and on/off again 2 or 3 times.
helps soften the stickiness of the tape.

    Good choices listed by Guz.

I practically gave my M105 away! Don't miss it at all, though it did well for me when I was starting off in 2014 or so.

    Re: FLEX XCE 8-125

    Dgage, cool deal.

I do like the DeWalt plenty. I would compare to a Griot's BOSS g15. So similar IMO. If anything, I'd give the edge to the DeWalt in slightly less stalling and possibly feels a...
