Re: Educate me on IK foam sprayers?

I do the wheel barrels including the tires and wheels, so it takes about 3 (15 pumps) per wheel. So 3 X 15 X 4 = 180 strokes.

If I was doing 2-3 cars a day, it would bother me.

Re: Educate me on IK foam sprayers?

Nice thick foam, but requires a lot of pumping.

  7. Re: New product idea? Thick, temporary paint protection that is very easy to apply and remove

I was going to suggest that Guz, but he might leave it uncoated for several weeks or even months during winter months.
  8. Re: New product idea? Thick, temporary paint protection that is very easy to apply and remove

Your asking a lot, Skip..not that it doesn't exist, but wouldn't it be easier to protect it with a light spray sealant and re-polish when your ready to coat?

Re: T&C (also known as terms and conditions)

On OEM paint that is in good condition I would say no less than 80 microns. Although OEM clear coat is thin..it takes a lot to remove a few microns.

Measure your door jam or under the hood to get...

    Re: Question on new paint

Most modern paint shops will heat bake the paint job making it safe to wax without waiting the traditional 30 days to out gas.

Don't use a pressure washer on 20 yr. old paint and don't polish without a PG.

Maybe if you answered your phone you would get even more customers. I don't mean to be sarcastic, but some people don't like talking to a machine, which includes me.

Second the Rupes Nano 1" in rotary mode for surgical polishing. IMO the 3mm orbital is worthless (stalls a lot), but the 12mm is awesome.
