  2. Coating levelling - possible to remove too much?

It has a 1 year shelf life once opened. Carpro confirmed this.

Not a good idea to use IPA on a freshly applied coating. Itís not cured and any chemicals introduced to early will degrade itís...

    Re: getting ready to coat

Carpro recommends two layers of UK and 1 layer of Gliss.

Wait time between coats of UK is 45 min to 1 hour. Gliss needs a minimum of 4 hours before it can be layered over a Cquartz coating.

  4. Re: Coating levelling - possible to remove too much?

Lite is tacky upon removal. It also has a 1 year life span within the bottle. After that it starts to harden up.

You got good information. Once you get it on the paint you will enjoy itís...

Will be worse. Has less lubrication that a panel wipe.

    Re: Question on new paint

You can use any wash that is not a wash & wax version.

These two products are fresh paint safe. Used them on my car that was repainted and the paint is still on the car years later.

  8. Re: New product idea? Thick, temporary paint protection that is very easy to apply and remove

Nothing wrong with leaving the paint unprotected until you coat it. The paint is not going to fall off.

    Re: Been thinking to much

Iím in agreement with my fellow members. I donít use AIOís but if you want to top it then a spray product would be my choice.

If I was to apply a wax or sealant over it then I would just use a...

    Re: Been thinking to much

No need to use all of these silica products.

Have to agree here. Polishing will get the best look.

Too much silica is not good. It will tend to mute the base layer.

    Re: CarPro Eraser Residue!?

That is good news. Just go over the area with a quick zip with no pressure on your final pass. It can sometimes get a bit hard to wipe off on the edges of your work space size.

    Essence...

Well I meant the edgeless 300 and not the eagle edgeless. Two different types of towels. Low nap is what you want. Save those plush towels for your spray sealants.

Re: Need some expert help on what is next

Lite uses the UK 3.0 as the base formula. With Lite you don't have to worry about flash times. It is wipe on, wipe off. It is also more forgiving when it comes to high spots. UK 3.o is a great...

Re: Make Up Pads for applying Coatings to Wheels?

Avi sent me these before they were released and I tried it one time on a small area and I tossed it back in the bag lol. It is just easier to use the suede without the block for small to reach areas.
