I dont like that Idea. People should be able to debate respectfully if they have difrent opinions. That's how you learn diffrent things.
  3. Re: NEW FLEX XCE 3401 Corded and Cordless Polishers!

Don't cancel your order if you want the tool over 1 detail. Plus we get warm stretches in november/december sometimes.

Re: Center cooling hole in foam pads

I wouldn't do it. Better off buying pads with holes already in them then trying to modify a pad that was not designed for it.
  6. Re: Griot's Garage PFM Terry Weave Towel, not exactly that soft ?!...

I agree I feel this towel is completely overrated. Maybe because I have delicate black paint but this towel is no where near as good as the dry me a river towels I like to use. I use my pfm towels to...

    Re: Scratching or?

    Re: polish angel master recommendation.

I think you could apply master sealant over a wax but I'm not sure I don't work for the company or anything. You could use any type of synthetic or natural wax on top of it. Paste, spray, quick...

Re: Loctite Rust Neutralizer on rock chips?

  13. Re: Problem with Wolfgang Uber SiO2 Coating Wash

I'm thinking its from something else and you just don't realize it. Soap doesn't cause permanent damage like that. It's gotta be something that got on there that you didnt notice until after you wash...
  14. Re: Why I call the FLEX 3401 the BEAST! by Mike Phillips

Do you typically compound a whole panel like the hood before buffing the compound off or is that for demonstration purposes Mike?

Can u put the new backing plates on the old machine?
  17. Re: Dumb question about Rupes foam pad prep - how often?

Yeah its just when you start with a dry pad in general. Its not anything you have to do to the pad itself before using it. Some people prime the pads with polish or conditioner to prevent dry buffing...

Meguiars fast finish too. It's a nice looking, under rated, product that came out at the wrong time.
