    Re: Carpro Essense Plus

They've had a few versions, about 1.5 years or so ago they moved from V1 to V2.0 to V2.1 in a relatively quick span and then V3 came out about 6 months later. If you've got the "No 3" on the bottle,...

    Greetings from NE Ohio!

Columbus has a killer car scene, even has 2 different Cars & Coffee organizations/meets. Try to get down there a few times each Summer.

    Re: windshield coating

Have seen mentions of Ceri w Rayon pads can do that to some lighter scratches but apparently quite a messy process.

Dunno too much about it but someone somewhere suggested if ya go at it too hard,...

    Re: windshield coating

From what I've heard of the process, I'd probably replace the windshield before I'd indulge in that process to remove scratches [emoji1]

    Re: windshield coating

While ya could go this route, a simple polish light foam cutting/polishing pad will remove coating. Isn't Ceriglas a sorta messy process?

Re: Review: Wolfgang PROFI Ceramic Coating

Doh! Bummer...would be nice if mfg's got away from that stuff. Oh my...just noticed they equated 9h pencil hardness to nearly that of a diamond...that's even worse. Not just misleading, outright...

Re: Review: Wolfgang PROFI Ceramic Coating

Props to WG for not mentioning any of the 'eleventy-billion h' hardness nonsense. In a practical sense, it's a totally irrelevant measurement aside from marketing mumbo-jumbo.
  12. Re: Is Graphene the next big thing for coatings?

No problem with water spotting but I've never really had that issue, local climate maybe? It is Cleveland though where our river caught fire in the 70's and we still have smog testing in our counties...
  13. Re: Is Graphene the next big thing for coatings?

Dunno if it's the Graphene or other things in the formulation but the Graphene coating I've had on my car since May 2019 has been one of the better coatings I've tried. Very vivid shine, great...

    Re: Best tire dressings?

I buy a bottle about every 2 years. Not a fan of high gloss tires, this is a nice 'intermediate shine' thing.

Usually clean tires, apply 2 coats in Spring, maybe another clean/coat in Fall and...

    TuffShine

Won't give ya the crazy shine, silicone-infused gloss but a nice mid-level gloss that lasts at least 2 to 3 months.
