Re: Should I upgrade to a Flex 3401?

Thing is a 15mm will stall more. The GG6 is plenty powerful. The 15 is also powerful, until you hit a curve or a oddly shaped area. Flat panels, I agree the 15 will out muscle the 6. Problem is...

Re: Should I upgrade to a Flex 3401?

Paul, I must respectfully disagree with you here. And my reasoning......

If it takes you longer to remove swirls with a GG6 and faster with the 3401, the same amount of clear has been removed. To...

Yes you should get one. It will be your “epiphany” moment.
  4. Re: Review: Pinnacle Vinyl and Rubber Cleaner and Conditioner

Thank you for sharing and taking time to do this!!
  5. Re: Which Flex Polisher (Beast or C-Beast) ???

Too add to what Mike said, as you progress, you will enjoy having both if you are detailing for money. Both are great tools and have their own pros and cons.

Re: Rupes LHR15 no longer working?

Try to get it to oscillate by hand. Sometimes from sitting, Rust forms and doesn’t allow contact. Hand turning may get you back to making an electrical contact. WD-40 may help also.
  7. Re: Review: Pinnacle Black Label Diamond Ceramic Coating Pro

Sure looks impressive!! The coating also looks great.

You managed to make white pop. That’s a hard thing to do sometimes. Great work, Mike.

Re: How to Make Money on SUV's

Can you explain the 4 hours more to just apply a wax? I can see more time if you are buffing but not 4 hours.

What products are you using. Perhaps you need a more user friendly product.

  13. Re: JUst got my SUPA BEAst! Pad recommendations please?

I’m not Mike but I highly suggest Lake Country 6.5 inch Force hybrid pads. The orange, white and black will tackle just about any jobs. I also like the foamed wool pads for really tough jobs.

Re: My new favorite one step polish!

Try using a bit more polish. Most likely will solve the dusting for you. I typically run a heavy continuous bead of One on the outside edge of the pad and get zero dusting.

    From hard to soft paint.

No, you won’t get the same correction In the same amount of time with a long throw as a forced rotation DA because you can apply pressure and get zero pad stalling.

Re: My new favorite one step polish!

Chances are yes. I find the white hybrid force pads and 3D one can accomplish the amount of correction I’m looking for on a one step polish job. Of course I will try different pads in my test areas. ...
