  1. Re: Is Turtle Wax Rubbing Compound (Bottle Version) Really Aggressive?

I’m imaging probably have to use a pretty heavy cut compound and pad then follow with a polish. Many times “swirls” are much heavier defects than we think initially

  5. Re: Washing a freshly opti gloss coated car...

I wouldn’t worry too much about it. ONR shouldn’t instantly remove gloss coat in one small spot when removing a bird bomb.

Probably safe on AUtopia cause if you say LM is better, then it’s bad business here since it takes sales away

Geez Klasse/Roger that’s pretty rough to post

Why can’t someone use QD to umm “quick detail” their own car? I did mine in the parking lot the other day it had dirt and rain spotting. Oh no the...

    Re: Review: BLACKFIRE HydroSeal Concentrate

Meh I bet more like 3-4 weeks of protection and beading. I haven’t seen anyone go much more than that on any of the water activated products. Permanon, hydro2, wetseal, aquabead, hydro blue, etc.

Re: The Post a Picture of Your Ride as it Sits Thread

I could definitely see a problem with rear facing seats in an Elantra. Heck I could barely fit them in a Chrysler 300 and they claim it’s a full size car. (Has to move the seat forward considerably)....

    Re: BF Waterless wash

The product itself is completely safe. It’s the technique and or wash media that may or may not be safe

You can’t do it with 1 dollar store towel for the whole car and expect no marring at all....

Re: ONR in QD dilution hard to wipe

You are air drying the car ? Is that where the water spots are from. I’m imagining it is.

You gotta have true 0 TDS water to allow air drying IMO even then you have to make sure you got all...

Re: Optimum Car Wash - Review

One of the other soaps that actually intrigues me is the Mckees 37 sio2 soap

The alleged no water spots, and our dear Ron tested it in Florida in the sun and it worked well. It’s a bit pricey...
  17. Re: How best to negotiate with dealer for new car price ?

Your price you were offered looked not bad. If you are happy where they have you then by all means go for it

You can ask them what the fee is. Doesn’t hurt. Probably get some sort of paperwork...
  18. Re: Product to prevent new Honda CRV cladding/molding from fading?

Most products these days I think have some sort of UV inhibitors in them. How effective they are on different surfaces is to be determined

OCW obviously has patented protection BUT does that only...

I don’t even think wheel bright is that strong in 4:1. It’s cleans my silver oem wheels pretty well but not my black oem or aftermarket that well unless you like to agitate

“Should”. That diesel huge government EPA problems with those. etc.
