  1. Re: Should I be looking at a sealant, wax, or coating for PPF? I don't want to have to polish off in the future.

I forgot Gyeon makes a full line dedicated to PPF.

Re: Prepping Paint for Gyeon CanCoat

The prep stages prior to polishing will degrade it enough to where Primer Polish on a polishing pad will remove KAIO. An APC like Optimum Power Clean should clean up the trim to where you can coat...

    Re: Gyeon can coat prep

I double coat about every coating I use.

Meguiar’s has many polishes so anything such as ultimate polish, M205, M210 will work. Just be sure to prep wipe prior to the coating application.

    Re: Gyeon can coat prep

Polish, prep wipe (CarPro Eraser. Gyeon Prep, etc..), double coat of cancoat 1 hour apart.

Do you have any other polishes?

There customer service information can be found here. They have been known to surprise people with going above and beyond repairing machines.

I think I ordered a bottle of Autopia during the close out and it was the previous formula. I don't have a photo of the bottles side by side. The current version used to have the new formula...

    Re: Tire coatings

You will get more than 3 months. And when you need to top it, top it with itself. Simple wash and a prep wipe with like Eraser and another coat or two and you are done. The tac system won't last...

    Major letdown

They have explained this many times on here and over on autopia. It is there internal system and it’s not set up for that. You can ask them the details on it. I vaguely remember myself.

    You...

Re: Gyeon CanCoat vs Gyeon Trim

Most trim coatings are about the same. They all have similar characteristics and performance. Off the top of my head I have tried CarPro DLUX, Gyeon Trim, Gtechniq C4, Adams Trim and I go right...

Re: Gyeon CanCoat vs Gyeon Trim

Q2 Trim looks better and performs better on trim than CanCoat. CanCoat is a great product though and you will be happy with it.

I wasn't sold on Syncro when I tried it out. Skin is great but...

  14. Re: I tried IGL Renew F4 for the first time today

Yes that is it’s main purpose. It’s their version of Essence Plus.

If you listen closely Brian says it is abrasive which it is not. Any cut will be from a pad.

    I contacted IGL directly...
  15. Re: I tried IGL Renew F4 for the first time today

It is like Essence Plus. The difference being their make up with one being silica based one one being Graphene based. Well mostly polymer based as Graphene itself is expensive.

    Any cut will be...

    Re: Mirror Glaze 06?

Check out this thread. It goes into detail on some of the Meguiar's cleaner waxes. It is not that abrasive in the big picture.

Why does Meguiar's offer so many different waxes?

Elixir as mentioned is a quick detailer. Unlike EcH2O it will leave protection behind as it contains elements of Reload and Hydro2. If you like protection then you can invest in a bottle and use...

Re: What Happened To My Ceramic Coating?

It is time for a decon wash. CarPro recommends it. One thing to keep in mind is that coatings are not contaminant proof. Give it a go and that should help.

Reload also has the tendency to...
  22. Re: In need of some maintenance advice. New to detailing.

See my post above. Get the SPS spray detailer and use it as often as you like to maintain the graphene coating. It is not as durable as SPS claims.

Is Graphene the next big thing for coatings?

Re: How do you choose a quick detailer?
