Re: Should I upgrade to a Flex 3401?

Agree with everything here. The Flex is truly a beast. I'm adding another to my cabinet as im standardizing on the Fkex due in part to durability. I've used it along side the Ruoes Mille...
  5. Re: Daily sap on car...the war is on, could use some advice!

That's a tough one. I honestly couldn't do it. I have no trees over my driveway and the two on our tree lawn were cut down a while ago as I dont want to park under them. Lol.

Re: Should I upgrade to a Flex 3401?

The amount of clear removed isn't an issue. Thats easily controlled by what product and pad used. Also doing less passes.

Re: Should I upgrade to a Flex 3401?

It will save you 40% plus time. I won't be moving away from forced drive mainly for time savings but also they work everywhere. No more needing to worry about the pad nor spinning.

Will be interested to see what your opinions are as time goes on. I've yet to find a tire dressing that I think over the weeks lasts enough to my liking. I'm okay with simply using Meg's...
  9. Re: How many mitts needed for a 1 bucket wash? Any better washing methods?

I'm old school simple but it's works and I don't install any swirls or marks doing it this way. I'm not a foam canon guy. Fun but honestly, I've seen plenty of side by side tests and done so...

Re: Coating experts: I need your opinions here

Looks to me like his wife used fabric softener or a dryer sheet and it's leaching out from his towel.

My advice to ALL my clients I ceramic coat is to dry the vehicle with a leaf blower. Sound...

Re: How to Make Money on SUV's

for the Original Poster I have no idea. I hope not. For me a wash, decon and spray sealant is my for sale or trade package and it typically won't involve a polisher. Not unless I'm feeling...

Re: How to Make Money on SUV's

On a small SUV 2 Row SUV like an escape or Rogue I budget about 6hrs. On a larger 3 row one like an Explorer or Pilot I budget about 7.5hrs. It rarely take me that long though. The budgets for...

    Re: When coarse isn't enough

Yep. That's why I love forced rotation like the Flex 3401 or even the Rupes Mille. It never stops spinning and doesn't care where on the car I put it. LOL.

Re: New to correction, scratch removal

If you're not experienced with a polisher and deeper scratch removal, ask a local detailer to look it over. Not sure where you're located but many here are able to help.

Re: Gyeon CanCoat vs Gyeon Trim

Re: Gyeon CanCoat vs Gyeon Trim

I use both extensively. Can coat can be used on plastic trim but it won't change the color of it. Q2Trim will darken it up nicely AND protect it.

I used it on my wifes vehicle over 2yrs ago...
