  1. Re: Prediction - More one-step cleaner/COATINGS or CCAIOS i.e. Ceramic Coating All-in-One type products

Only thing I think right now is that none of the currently existing ones have much durability. They seem almost to be one of those you need to use after every few washes basically.
  2. Re: New, frustrated and determined (lots of questions)?

Best thing to do is to watch videos made by the manufacturer themselves. They'll give you the best information.
  3. Re: New, frustrated and determined (lots of questions)?

Honestly TrustJesus, don't watch too many of the youtube influencer videos. For example, Brian from Apex is a good guy and a great businessman but all his Artdeshine products, a company from up here...

Re: New to correction, scratch removal

I'd suggest getting more fast correction foam pads and correction foam pads as well as some finishing foam pads. I've never used complete compound but I know that the fast correcting cream and the...

Re: New to correction, scratch removal

What pads are you using? What kind of polisher? What kind of paint leveling liquids and what kind of car is that? All those factor in to a great finish so it's hard to give you an answer without...
  6. Re: Paint spots on my 2015 Night Race Blue Metallic

Did you get the CQUartz finest re-applied? And was it covered under the warranty?

    Re: ONRWW rinseless wash advice

I don't wrong out the towel at all. If it drips, it drips. More lubrication is always better, I don't really trust ONR to be honest, because I used to use ONR with BRS, and I pre-treated quite...
  8. Re: Coating experts: I need your opinions here

Issue with Ceramic Pro is that they recommend multiple layers for most effective use. Issue with that is, that means with that many layers required, each individual application doesn't have a high...
  9. Re: Coating experts: I need your opinions here

Ya it's Ceramic Pro. Not exactly the most stellar on the market.

Basically, for the rest of his car, I'd suggest having some kind of a good detailing spray that he can use. Something along the...
  10. Re: Coating experts: I need your opinions here

Perhaps Rinseless washing would be a good choice for him.
  11. Re: Coating experts: I need your opinions here

Best thing to do might be to try a slightly different soap and re-wash and see. If the same thing happens, might be the water. Might I suggest if you have the time, to join him for a wash? Perhaps...
  12. Re: Coating experts: I need your opinions here

His water is too hard. When he dries, he's not getting all of it up that's why he's seeing the smears. I doubt it's hyperwash. My suggestion, get him to use something as a drying aid when he dries,...

    Re: Questions about machine polishing

Scholl S40 works perfectly fine with a long throw DA.

    Re: Carpro Essense Plus

I'll take a look at it when I get home, but it says 3.

Re: What Happened To My Ceramic Coating?

Don't get me wrong, I use coatings for myself but I use fall out remover and it's back to being fine after a good wash. That I can accept but with Reload, it feels like the next step is to clay and...

Re: What Happened To My Ceramic Coating?

The contamination build up from Reload. For whatever reason, a month after having reload on with consistent washes, the paint already feels like sandpaper again. I don't get that with the other...

Re: What Happened To My Ceramic Coating?

No, it's definitely not a quick detailer. Mind you, it's not just Reload. Reload, Cure, etc, a lot of those products I find give great water beading, and adds some gloss but that's usually about it.

    Re: Carpro Essense Plus

I find it adds a very high gloss glassy look to the paint. It's not as much of a glow as other stuff but I like the glassy look of it so I use it. Plus, I find it super easy to use and apply even in...

Re: What Happened To My Ceramic Coating?

Chemical Guys Speedshine Detailer. Has basically the same level of protection, and hides light swirls. Also adds gloss. Also can be used in direct sunlight without any finicky application processes....

Re: What Happened To My Ceramic Coating?

I personally just don't know what the point of Reload is to be honest. Considering what it does or doesn't do, there are cheaper options if you just want to add a bit of gloss and easier to use ones....

Re: New to correction, scratch removal

I've never used griots stuff so I can't say. Generally, I would get about 5 orange pads and 4 polishing pads. I also have about 4 microfiber cutting pads as well but that depends on how much you're...

    Re: Detailing Pricing

The prices do seem a bit low for paint correction. It also depends on the market that you're aiming for to be honest. Paint correction. I'm not mobile, and I just do it on the side. For me, I don't...
  23. Re: Any good coatings/wraps for protecting plastic exterior parts from scratches?

Basically only vinyl wrap, and it'll only protect for as deep as it goes. It does depend on the plastic, if something can even be adhered to it.
  24. Re: I tried IGL Renew F4 for the first time today

Thanks Joe. It's something I'm looking at because I try not to polish more than once every two years to save clearcoat. If someone needs their car re-polished or wants their car repolished after 6...
