Re: I Just passed all 10 of my IDA exams!!!!!!

Where can you find information on the process for IDA Certification?
  2. Re: Pictures: New FLEX PXE 80 10.8-EC by Mike Phillips

As the tool gets out in the wild more users are finding new uses for the PXE 80. Saw a video on YouTube last night from a detailer in the UK that is using the PXE 80 to polish windows. Small...
  3. Re: Pictures: New FLEX PXE 80 10.8-EC by Mike Phillips

The 10.8 vs 12V battery confusion is common and has to deal with how Europe and the US regulate battery specs. A battery with a 10.8 or 12V rating is the same battery. The difference is whether...
  4. Re: Polishers - Forced Rotation vs Free Wheeling

Mike Thank you for your great answer, it was exactly the kind of information I was looking for. I really appreciate it.

Polishers - Forced Rotation vs Free Wheeling

Mike here is a question I have never seen addressed when would it be advantageous to use a free wheeling polisher vs a forced rotation polisher?

    Re: Flex b here!

But Flex did develop some cutting edge battery tech. Take a look at Flex battery vs a battery from DeWalt, Makita and Milwaukee and what you will see is a little screen. This screen is a vent that...

    Re: Pixie foam pads

I am hoping they do. I would be nice. Neither the PXE or the iBrid have a 2" option which I find strange. The Griot's mini polisher and their new G8 both have a 2" option which is why I purchased...

    Re: Flex b here!

Those must be the CBEAST kits and not the bare tools. Wish they would have sent a few bare tools with the kits. Oh well they will be here soon enough

    Re: Pixie foam pads

I use the 2" pads on my Griot's Garage mini polisher they work great. I did not know that they were making the thin pads in 1" 2" and 3" sizes but the Flex pads have done anything I have asked them...

    Re: Pixie foam pads

I like the Flex pads they come in 1" 2"and 3" inch sizes and in a variety of hardnesses (cutting through polish and wax application). They last a long time and the Velcro is really sticky.

    Re: Flex b here!

I have had a CBEAST on order since 29 July and mine hasn't been shipped yet. My PXE has been shipped so I'm thinking the first shipment only contained kits and not bare tools since that is what I...

Re: Something for plastic cowl on trucks?

The best solution on the cowl panels with all of the intricate recesses and corners would be a durable aerosol. Anybody using one that lasts? On the Optimum Spray wax is just spray on and walk...
  16. Re: Pictures: New FLEX PXE 80 10.8-EC by Mike Phillips

Nice, hopefully you'll do a quick write-up so we can see how good this tool is and the improvements over the old Griot's model. I really have enjoyed all the new cordless tools being released. Once...
  17. Re: NEW FLEX XCE 3401 Corded and Cordless Polishers!

Mike whatever happened to these, did they arrive in the US yet?
  18. Re: Pictures: New FLEX PXE 80 10.8-EC by Mike Phillips

According to Griot's Garage the G8 ships 10 Dec.
  19. Re: Pictures: New FLEX PXE 80 10.8-EC by Mike Phillips

I have ordered mine. Thank you for the heads up Mike.
  20. Re: SEMA 2019 New Products - New Products Coming Soon!

Looks like the only company with a ceramic AIO is Turtle Wax. Apex Detailing did really review of the product then followed it up with a test on its ability to protect and the results were positive.
  21. Re: SEMA 2019 New Products - New Products Coming Soon!

I just checked the Turtle Wax website on their new Hybrid stuff and as you say very interesting and inexpensive. I really like the Hybrid AIO, and Quick Detailer. Both products I will look into.
  22. Re: SEMA 2019 New Products - New Products Coming Soon!

Looks like the keyword at this year's SEMA Show was Ceramic. They put ceramic in everything but tire shine. There are a lot of new products with ceramic. I haven't used any ceramic products yet...

Another video reviewing the PXE80. Looks like some places in Europe are accepting pre-orders.
