  1. Re: Truck to be ceramic or xpel coated in (at most) 2 month, suggestions for stop gap coating

Yeah whether you go coating or Xpel any decent or better shop is going to polish. I would use the Collinite.

If going to buy something OTC I’d recommend the Griots Ceramic 3-1.

    Reviews better...

Re: G15 or G21 on large SUV?

If you have alot of big flat panel i would go with the 21 and hit the curves with the 8 or 9.

I have the old g15 and still took some time on a small SUV.

I’ve read the same on the old vs new...

  5. Re: Anyone still use old school combos?

Yeah but you could apply a coating once and leave alone for 2 years.

  6. Re: Anyone still use old school combos?

Yeah you just need to apply more often and again protection levels are meh.

  7. Re: Anyone still use old school combos?

Nope. Feel stuff out now is better technology. A wax may (does) look better than a coating bit lacks in ease of use and durability.

If a garage queen i get waxing but coatings 100% over...

Can you Believe this is a Hyundai

Yeah i saw an old article (Options maybe?)about classic muscles in japan and the cars were a fusion of classic detroit mixed with JDM.

These are my two favorite types of cars (would take an R34...

Those are the ones that got away…… thought about them for the camaro…… but no. I’m intent on doing a jdm style wheel on the chevelle.

Problem is if there is enough lip and i’ve always wanted...

Re: Can you Believe this is a Hyundai

I do the same thing. My Camaro had aftermarket replica of the ZL1 1LE the previous owner put on. The fit perfectly (20x10,20x11) and look good but i want to change them out because they look stock....

Re: What did you do today non-detailing related?

Yeah loud exhaust with the right tone is a thing of beauty. From a turbo 4, supercharged v6 and a cammed 70’s v8…..i love the sounds.

Re: Can you Believe this is a Hyundai

That’s a good looking ride. Not that it’s a must but any plans to change the wheels. Not a big fan of any stock rims.

Usually to safe of an offset and although those look good on the car it’s...

Yeah definitely a case of different strokes for different folks. The front AND the rear are why i don’t like it. The exhaust pipe set up is hideous.
