  1. Re: Review: Pinnacle Black Label Synergy Spray Sealant

Do they still use the same chemists as they did when bob Mckee had it? I've been wondering this for a while.
  2. Re: Review: Pinnacle Black Label Synergy Spray Sealant

Awesome, I felt better when you said 10 hours until you through in the cover lol. I know and appreciate the secret technique. I used it on my fathers truck with the 7" rupes pads on the flex. I did...
  3. Re: Review: Pinnacle Black Label Synergy Spray Sealant

I think this is made to top the black label reserve wax which has no ceramic properties. I don't think this does either. Just my opinion IDK for sure.
  4. Re: Review: Pinnacle Black Label Synergy Spray Sealant

Is that how people use drying aids? The way I do it is I dry the car 95% first then quickly go back over everything with a spray product misted on to a towel. Then I quickly buff it off with a clean...
  5. Re: Review: Pinnacle Black Label Ceramic Trim Restorer

Thats a tough spot. I had the same problem with the dye going on unevenly. Mine didn't go away when it dried though. I'm hoping I can either take it off with something or try to fix it with a second...

Re: Dealers “man with a towel” got me!

Man, I don't know why the dealers don't just give up on this car washing practice all together. People that detail their car hate it and people who don't don't care about it anyway.
  7. Re: Product Review: Pinnacle Black Label Ceramic Trim Restorer

I used this stuff friday on surgically clean trim That was also wiped down with panelwipe. I used a foam applicator. I got some nasty high spots. I guess I didn't spread it thin enough or wiped it to...
  8. Re: Review: Pinnacle Black Label Synergy Spray Sealant

Nice job! I'm very curious how long that whole process took you? From when you started washing the car to finishing the sealant. That to me seems like a tremendous amount of work to do in 1 day. I...

Re: Prevent morning freeze on the windshield

Very common these days where anyone can publish whatever bull crap they want to try to prove their opinions. If its on the internet it must be true right? Even the best and brightest among us who...

Re: Prevent morning freeze on the windshield

What about me? I sit in my car with the engine running for a 1/2 an hour everyday before going in to work. Is that illegal now? I'm a menace. I'm getting sick of all these stupid little rules...

Re: Prevent morning freeze on the windshield

I've taken some dangerous rides in my time. I'm talking about only being able to see through a 6" square until the defrosters kick in. I'm not proud.

Re: Prevent morning freeze on the windshield

If its solid scrap it. If its liquid wipe it up with a microfiber towel. Pretty much the only 2 things you can do. You could try mckees 37 anti frost but I don't think that is something that would...
  13. Re: Review: Pinnacle Black Label Ceramic Trim Restorer

How strong of an APC would you recommend? I just did mine with the drill brush but I only used carpro multix at like 25/1. They recommend 20/1 for general cleaning. Would you go any stronger then...

Re: Review: Pinnacle Onyx Trim Restorer

I cleaned all my trim yesterday with a drill. I didn't get to the onyx dye. I didn't realize that this was not a protection product. I probably should of just got the pinnacle black label.
  15. Re: SEMA 2019 New Products - New Products Coming Soon!

It's definitely not just you. I thought the ppf was the protection?
  16. Re: SEMA 2019 New Products - New Products Coming Soon!

IDK I would think it would light up high and low spots making it difficult to see whats what? It could just kinda blend together.

    Re: Microfiber towels streaking

I've never used them but I definietly won't mock them. I thought the 80/20 blend was the deciding factor on microfiber towels as far as softness. But now after trying just about every towel made...
  18. Re: Thinking of getting a black car, that crazy?

I had a silver car for 15 years before this one and I probably washed it 3 times. It's almost like I was a different person.
  19. Re: Thinking of getting a black car, that crazy?

This is true. If you love working on your car you will probably love to work on it in any color. But I wouldn't know because the black car I have now is the only vehicle I've detailed. Late bloomer...
  20. Re: 2007 black Dodge Charger polishing suggestions

No I haven't. Just the one bottle. I thought I read in a thread that they won't be coming out with anything smaller but I don't remember which one.
  21. Re: 2007 black Dodge Charger polishing suggestions

The new meguiars 210 pro finishing polish is excellent.

Could be from using a polishing pad for to long too.
  23. Re: SEMA 2019 New Products - New Products Coming Soon!

I have it to, may try it out this weekend. It was off my radar until this thread. Just a paperweight. I would like to use that or the wax I got from them.
  24. Re: SEMA 2019 New Products - New Products Coming Soon!

That new Flex light seems like a great deal on first inspection. Until you realize you need to spend another 100 on a charger then another 200 on 2 batteries. For that price I can buy another...
  25. Re: Thinking of getting a black car, that crazy?

It takes me 5 hours just to do the prep wash and clay process to get ready for correction.
