    Re: Menzerna Powerlock Prep

My short answer to your question is, in MY opinion, yes, its ok to just lay down some winter protection.

Do the baggie test and see if it needs to be clayed. If it does, clay it. I ALWAYS...

Re: applying Ceramic coat over Zaino CS

Zaino products, I believe, fit squarely in the sealant category. In my opinion you want that completely removed before applying any coating. You never apply a coating on wax or sealants.

    Re: Happy Birthday fly07sti!!!

OMG, just had to change my scivvies!

I use my punch and not my cutter on premium smokes like that. I like a nice, clean cut to extract the flavor of damn near every inch till my lips burn.

    Re: BF One Step Topper?

I'm a huge fan of staying in the family of products and would most likely grab a BF LSP.

HOWEVER, if Mike likes Sonax PNS as a topper for BF AIO then I'd be all over that also.

Re: Toyota Hilux Head Turning Turnaround.

I couldn't have said it any better than DMiglio! Unbelievable but then again, somewhat sad because it'll be trashed again in no time but, hey...it's a work truck. (note to self - get over it. they...

Re: Not happy with headlight results

I finish with at least 3000 and sometimes 5000. Depending on how hacked up they were to start with, I rarely go any lower than 600. I then use a compound like Menz HCC 400 or Sonax CutMax and cut...

Re: Do you need a swirl remover...

As always, Mike nailed the principle ... You have to abrade or cut down the paint lower than the scratches.

Re: Not happy with headlight results

I always compound and then buff after wetsanding to final polish before respraying with clear. What you had was 2000 haze under clear coat.

You're almost there. Maybe 3000 wetsand then machine...

Re: MK360 or HDSpeed on 19 Black Silverado

These responses would seem to suggest a pretty even battle for each product.

I would suggest going with what your gut tells you and if you lean towards M37 have at it.

    Better yet, do half M37...

Re: MK360 or HDSpeed on 19 Black Silverado

I've used both extensively and, like Paul said, neither offers any substantial protection. My preference is always HD Speed over M37 360.

    Having said that, I wouldn't discount waterman's...
