Re: NEW McKess 37 pollen X

I have had pretty good luck using Spray Nine APC. It is a fungicide, bactericide and disinfectant and a pretty damn good APC too.

    Re: Non-Toxic Cleaners

The 303 Multi-Surface concentrate has worked well for me for interiors when needed. You can even clean your fruits and veggies with it. Its a colloidal cleaner which I don't really understand. I...

I still have bottle of Danase Wet Glaze and Danase Pure Polish
  6. Re: Dumb question on using iron remover for first time

I apply after 2 degreasing washes. I like to keep rewetting the panels the iron remover by wiping the panels with a MF and I wouldn't do that on a dirty car. I apply it to the first panels that...

Re: Polishes With The Easiest Wipe Off

Carpro Reflect is pretty easy to wipe off too. I think that Megs Ultimate Compound is pretty easy to remove also.
  10. Re: Applying ceramic coating to areas near rubber seals?

They are foam that is wrapped in plastic then wrapped in MF suede. So the coating does not soak into the foam just the MF. I started using these earlier this year

Re: What is a good product to fill swirls?

Sometimes you can't polish with abrasives because the clear has gotten too thin or is starting to fail. Obviously a proper polishing will come out better.

Prima Amigo for an acrylic based glaze...
  12. Re: Dumb question on using iron remover for first time

The plastic trim has iron fallout from brake dust embedded in it too. I have not seen it cause any trouble with plastic trim.

Re: Issues with Buff and Shine Pads

Too much moisture within the pad makes it heat up very quickly, then the foam deforms in the center of the pad usually. You may have also been pushing down on the polisher too much creating more heat

    Re: Deep glass cleaning

For interior windows the M37 20/20 Cockpit glass window polish is the best I have ever used if you have really dirty interior windows. It says for interior windows only but I never understood why it...

    Re: Deep glass cleaning

It is a great first step. It is pretty easy to use and wipe off. I use an old 4" yellow/cutting or orange/light cutting pad on windows. If that does not remove them then I will use something more...

    Re: Impressed by retail offerings

I see that also. Some AA stores will have a big dedicated section for Griot's products with polishers, pads and an assortment of MF towels and other stores only have a few bottles on the shelf mixed...

Re: Is there a wheel coating that is worth it?

I applied OptiCoat 2.0 to my wheels back in 2015. Still easy to clean. Don't bead as well as before. I have used Carpro Hydrofoam as a second cleaning about a half dozen times and add a little...

  21. Re: Harbor Freight DA polisher N/A. Alternatives?

The HF DA is still available. I bought another one about 2 months ago. It has gone through 2 redesigns. At least on the cosmetics. Same machine. I still see them on their monthly sales flyers.

Re: I'm SO confused - PPL & Ceramic Coating

    Re: Vinyl Top Treatment

I have never tried it but Solutions Finish might work well on a vinyl top to restore. 303 or something like PERL would work to maintain. WETS, M37 Trim Restorer or UTTG would maintain it better...

    Re: Essence after Swirl Removal

I wipe the car down with M37 N-914 at about 1:32 dilution first. I do that for every car before sealant or wax even if it does not say to on the LSP bottle. I only use Essence primer to finesse...
