Re: Has anyone used Optimum Big Red Sponge?

Pretty sure that new gold sponge is the same from Optimum or McKee’s 37, they’re made by Lake Country. Supposedly softer than the red sponge but I haven’t tried yet as I’m happy with the BRS.

Re: DI for rinse or not

That's quite low actually. They say spot free is 20 or less. But at 28, you might as well take a chance and see what happens. If you get a DI filter, it should last a while with such low TDS to...

Re: Has anyone used Optimum Big Red Sponge?

Works great. I've used it with Uber, N-914, Ech2o, and SiO2 Rinseless from McKee's 37. BRS worked well with all of those.

iK Foamer. Have not tried Hydrate, mostly because it says it leaves some protection behind.

    Re: Tool time (polisher sale!)

I had not paid attention to the sister’s site selling MF for cheap. I bought two 12 pack of the Forrest Green towels to see how well they work. I bought some edgeless towels from another place and...

    Re: Post Your Unpacking Pictures

Letís see if this is all hype and garbage (like Bead Maker) or if itís actually good. Iíll use it with an iK Foamer.

Re: Black Friday & Weekend Sales 2020

As I was browsing today I thought: “I’m pretty sure I’ve seen most of these items already these past few days” then I realized what was going on. That’s pretty cool that people now have a chance to...
  11. Re: Underpowered BOSS 21 compared to GG6? Help!

You used both washers at the same time? Only one washer is needed to prevent contact with shroud. If you do both you may get it to the point where the plate is not secure and spins in there, could...

Re: Black Friday & Weekend Sales 2020

Doesn’t work that way. Adding something to your cart does not lock in price (in case of a doorbuster) or availability. The only way to ensure you’ll pay that price and that it won’t sell out is...

Re: Black Friday & Weekend Sales 2020

Usually the % off code applies to those as well so then they can be a really good deal. The shipping I agree can make this not so good if you’re only getting one item. I wish on these 4 days of...

Re: The Post a Picture of Your Ride as it Sits Thread

I recently had my first experience with a tire coating, the latest version from McKee’s 37. Thankfully it was applied to 3 vehicles but not mine. It is the first McKee’s 37 product I don’t like at...
  16. Re: Can anyone post before and after pics of black leather after cleaned?

I really like McKee’s 37 70/30 Leather Shampoo. Also had good experience with Leather Masters products but I like the McKee’s one better. Twice a year and your leather will always look new.

    Re: CarPro Eraser Residue!?

At this point I agree you might as well proceed straight to the coating after Essence and without using Eraser. Let’s hope the towel you use to level the coating doesn’t do the same. That would...
  18. Re: Any recommendations on a cordless blow dryer?

It’s not cordless. It’s called Turbo Car Dryer. It works but it’s awkward to use. Mine sits on the shelf most of the time and the sidekick (also not cordless) is what I use the most.

If I could spend the rest of my life without cleaning another window it would be great. I hate doing that because it’s so easy to spot any imperfections. Definitely the part I hate the most. ...

Re: Can you use PERL with Opti seal

Might be different for another car. I applied it to my wife’s previous car, a Honda Fit, and it came out too shiny for my liking. Thankfully I didn’t try it first on my GTI.
