Surprised no one mentioned Angels Envy. If you haven’t tried it, try it.

Re: Uses for Meguiars number 7

I use it in single stage paint. So many uses for that..... I still use it b4 shows with my cars that have SS paint. Great for shows for clear coat also but with newer technology available in spray...

Re: The Hobbits are out, the PiXiEs are IN!!!

Very nice. I love this little tool. I have it about 3 months now and I wonder how I did without this tool now.

    Worth every penny!

Re: Natty's white paste wax drying

Just the opposite.... you are waiting too long to wipe it off.

Apply thin to a panel or two then wipe off.

For your current issue, another wipe down with an ever so slightly dampened...
  12. Re: If you could only use two or three product lines for all your detailing needs, what would you choose?

Wow! Tough tough question. I’m gonna have to say after years of detailing and trying sooo many products, that I couldn’t pick! I so mix and match that it’s absolutely ridiculous!

    There are so...

Poll: Re: Battle of Entry Level Coatings...

One thing about coatings most don’t realize..... coatings are like an egg.... the shell is harder than the underlying surface, thus expansion and contraction are going to crack and weaken them. So...

Poll: Re: Battle of Entry Level Coatings...

CQ lite is awesome. Wash it with WG Sio2 wash every 3 wash and it’s all you need. No toppers required. I have it on my DD for about 9 months thru the winter and it’s still going like day one. I have...

    Nice review Pat!
  16. Re: ONR vs Foam and Wash - If you could do either which would you choose?

NOTHING beats a traditional wash. Lots of water and a quality shampoo is the safest method! While I do use rinseless washes and they work amazingly well, the fact that lots of water flooding...

    Re: Rupes rotary compound

What machine, what pads are you using and what are you working on?

    Re: Rupes rotary compound

I don’t even know where it’s sold. AG doesn’t have it. Thought they would have when the rotary from Rupes came out. Anyway so many good compounds out there that’s is not a deal breaker for me.
  19. Re: Please Evaluate My Exterior Detail Plan Steps

Looks good. I’d suggest the Mckees coating prep wash over the CG clean slate. Works much better.

Re: Turtle Wax Ceramic Wet Wax (Mini-Review)

    Nicely done Pat!

I’m a big fan of this product.

Since TW designed this line for detailers, I wonder if they will be selling bulk sizes soon. I’d love to get this by the gallon.

Re: Some thoughts on the Flex PXE (PiXiE)

The 3inch backing plate is black. I have painted a white line on it so I can see pad rotation when using the 12mm attachment.

Re: Some thoughts on the Flex PXE (PiXiE)

3M makes 1.25 inch sanding disc (I also believe they make a 1 3/8 inch disc)that fit and attach perfectly to the sticky backing plate. I get them locally from...
