There is an enzymatic bug remover that works really well. You can find it on Amazon. I found out about it on an RV forum.

Why not polish and put on another coat of OptiCoat?
  6. Re: 25% Off Warehouse Overstock sale! What're you buying?

I just do this as a hobby, but my experience with the Mckees 37 line has been very positive. Bob McKee has been in this game a long time. I bieve Mckees 37 used to be Detailers Pro.

Re: Someone Gave Me a Chamberlain Waxmaster 900

It's actually very easy. Since your paint is in good shape, use a fine clay. Keep the surface lubed, inspect & fold your clay often, & throw it away and use a new piece if you drop it...

Re: Someone Gave Me a Chamberlain Waxmaster 900

Correction work doesn't need to be done, but the final results will likely be better. It really depends on what your goals are for your jeep. Typically you'll want to wash & dry first, then clay...

    Re: It's the new guy

A friend of mine repainted the hood of his Toyota truck. He did it himself in his garage. It turned out pretty good. Definately better than before it was painted, but not as nice as a body shop...

Maybe tell her that you enjoyed cleaning the Jeep, one good turn deserves another, and please pay it forward when the opportunity presents itself?

    Re: Simoniz Original Wax

I haven't used Simoniz in a looong time. If I recall correctly, it's carnuba wax. There are easier products to work with, but Simoniz will just require a little extra work, especially if applying...

Re: How long does it take to wash/dry your car?

About 40 minutes to wash & dry the exterior of my sedan, about an hour for my wife's mid-sized suv, and about an 1.25 hours for my big crew cab truck.

    Re: Hose Spray Nozels?

I use the Bon Aire Firemans nozzle, works well. The only drawback (for me) is it requires two hands to adjust or turn on/off the spray.

    Quick clean-up of our Toy-hauler

It's a 2014 and in pretty good shape but wanted to clean it up and get some UV protection on it.
    Quick rinse with pressure washer
Hit it (in sections) with the foam cannon
    Brushed with RV wash...
