  1. Re: headlight maintenance after restoration

If it were me I would do a light polish followed by coating with something like Carpro dlux on a yearly basis.

  2. Re: Options for protecting piano black interor

I always try to use air compressor to blow off as much dust as possible before touching. Then I start with super plush WET microfiber to give least amount of abrasion and finish with super plush dry...

    Re: Prevost Coach

I would ceramic coat just the front for ease of cleaning and max protection from bug guts, then use a paint sealant or ceramic spray coating for the rest.

Another vote for PFM. And for glass too.

  5. Re: So APC or Degreaser all around safe versatile cleaner?

This is one reason I'm a fan of Optimum Power Clean - it doesn't seem to cause any of the chalkiness that some apc / degreaser can cause. Really seems to just clean well and give a nice surface to...
  6. Re: So APC or Degreaser all around safe versatile cleaner?

You might try Optimum Power Clean. Can dilute for multiple uses. I typically use at 3:1 for exterior or engine bays and 6:1 for interior. Straight for really grimy stuff. Safe for all automotive...

  9. Re: Removing streak marks from Reload after fresh Cquartz

I had the same thing happen to me - I just waited it out and they were gone after a couple months I think (can't remember exactly how long but it did take a bit of time)

Re: How to revive microfiber drying towels?

Thanks for posting this again Guz - I think you're original post may have been lost in the mix with all these home remedies. Hopefully this will work even better.

    Re: Tire brush recommendation

So, did a side by side comparison where I used the same tuff shine cleaner and used each brush for half the tire, trying to use the same number of strokes and pressure. Definitely not scientific...

Re: How to revive microfiber drying towels?

These suggestions are getting downright dangerous lol. I think I'll wait for the new microfiber restoration detergents to be available through autogeek instead. Hopefully they come in soon!

Re: How to revive microfiber drying towels?

Both Carpro and P&S have new detergents to fix this issue but it doesn't look like they are in stock yet.

There are new products just out to address this. I'm hoping they work because I have the same issue.

I got a like from The Guz - my life is now complete. Seriously though, I was a little intrigued with the brush Eldorado recommended so I ordered it and have used it a couple times now. Definitely...
  16. Re: Stupid question, rinseless wash alternative?

You might consider trying Optimum Power Clean at different dilution ratios. I have pretty good luck at 6:1. Floor mats and heavily soiled areas at 3:1

    Re: Carpro Dlux, wrong date???

I noticed the bottle I purchased recently only had the manufacture date too. I've had a bottle last for more than a year after opening in the past if that helps at all.
