    Re: Wolfgang FUZION Spray wax

It’s a really good, zesty spray wax. And good as a drying aid as mentioned earlier.
  2. Re: Neighbour says HyperWash is killing our grass on the median! I say no! Who's right?!

I’ve poured tons of soaps onto my grass (and weeds) near a retaining wall where I kept the wash bucket. It doesn’t matter what type of wash (gloss enhancers, SiO2, Reset), it doesn’t do anything to...

Re: How important is durability to you?

Longevity is important to me only when I’m hooking up a family member or friend and know their car won’t be back at my house for awhile. For these situations I am taking longevity as my #1 priority. ...

Looks amazing. Nice color. Great job all around.

Re: IGL Premier as a stand alone

CanCoat and Premier are in two totally different levels as far as ease of use. IGL is as easy as a traditional spray sealant like Megs UQW or Aquawax.

Cancoat is easy ‘for a coating’ but you have...

Poll: Re: Best easy to use Topper

I voted Need for Bead. I think it’s similar to Beadmaker but I use less per application and it’s slightly easier to use in my opinion (I’ve not had streaking issues). They are very close though.

    I...
  10. Re: Will Wolfgang Ceramic Boost work with Wolfgang SIO2 Paint Sealant?

In the meantime, since you already purchased the booster, and assuming you don’t have any coatings planned in the near future, I would use it up on the SiO2 Sealant. Assuming it’s OK to work with...

    Re: Thank you Mike Phillips

Mike, thanks for everything. You are one-of-a-kind and will be missed more than you know. There’s no way to explain how much I’ve learned and enjoyed from this hobby since the moment I started...

    Re: Fast Interior Detailer

My favorite thing about Fast Interior Detailer is the smell, which is important when tidying up the interior.

Megs Quik is good too but not sure it leaves any protection behind (FAST leaves a lil...

Re: SiO2 washes and trim products

It’s my opinion that your answer to #1 has been discussed here and you should use a normal wash for at least a few weeks before applying Solution Finish.

And for question #2 you can always use...
  15. Re: Speed Master “The Notorious Dry” towel 1st impression…

Not that anyone should emulate me, but I do separate loads that are specific for PFM towels. I let them pile up in their own hamper and wash when I see fit. No pre-soak needed since these are only...

Re: Most regretted detailing product purchase

M37 365 Ceramic Spray Coating. It came out at the time when TW Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray, WG Ceramic Spray Coating, and numerous others came out. It’s by far the lesser in all categories...

Re: Regular Sealants vs Si02 Sealants

SiO2 sealants have significantly better water behavior / self cleaning than regular sealants. I have a lot of each, I love both... but water behavior makes the SiO2 products much more maintainable.
  18. Re: Speed Master “The Notorious Dry” towel 1st impression…

    Great review and discussion.

I agree that PFMs or any drying towels can remain ‘like new’ as long as they are not used with drying aids. I purposely use 90% of my PFMs with no drying aids, and I...

Re: Best Carnauba wax for shine/gloss red car !

OP, you could look into Collinite 915, same price range as Pinnacle SSII. It lasts as long as 845 typically and it is the company’s “beauty wax”.

But I’m sure the Mustang above shows that 845...
  21. Re: Review: DP “Not Your Father’s” SiO2 Paste Wax

It doesn’t say on the pot that it needs a bare prepped surface, so you could try it. With anything ‘ceramic’ I try to put it on a bare surface or on top of other ceramic (waxes, toppers). But DP...
  22. Re: Review: Hybrid Solutions Ceramic 3-in-1 Detailer

You are one of many here with streaky buying habits, no pun intended.

As far as streaks, dry ASAP after spraying and see what happens in the morning sun. Most QDs are more watery and might be less...
  23. Re: Review: Hybrid Solutions Ceramic 3-in-1 Detailer

As a drying aid, you’re basically asking? Yeah it works good as a drying aid. Probably better than Ceramic Spray Wax at preventing/removing water spots because the difference between the two is that...

Re: Review: DP GR4 Graphene Coating

    Mike,
In your review you mentioned to the owner not to use car washes (even touch-less, I interpret).

“How long will it last? I don't know, that's the problem with this type of product review....
