    Re: Lottery Car, what's yours?

My lottery car(to keep perfect and away from imbeciles on the road) would be a 2007 Ferrari F430 Scuderia. Red, silver stripes, and bronze anthracite wheels.

My lottery car to daily would be...

Re: what's your weather currently like?

Less than desirable, to say the least. But at least it's above 0°F, just. It was 3° when I left work this morning.

Re: Iron decon and clay combined...

I guess if you're polishing it anyways it matters a bit less that a lube that isn't a lube was used.....lol. Claying is harsh enough as it is why make it more so? Crazy. Never seen that before but...

Re: First day using Bilt Hamber touchless.

Yea I should probably line the shelf with something that has a lip on it. Good call. I used some tough white caulk I had that gets very hard. Should hold up. Or not lol. Touchless gets super waxy and...

I checked it again today with cleaning up yesterday easier to spot the origin point. I am now storing the container upside down and plan to seal with caulk or something.

  8. Re: FINALLY - Looking into Ceramic Coatings!

Maybe you can convince me to go back to coatings. But knowing me I'll wanna use what I got first and well now I have enough wax to last multiple lifetimes so hahahahaha.

Re: Can you Believe this is a Hyundai

It is likely due to my time at a dealer when I was there but when I think "Kia" I still think about techs taking warm parafine wax and pumping it into Sportage subframes so they didn't rot out in two...

Re: Bilt Hamber Touch-Less often use?

I feel it is certainly tailored towards those cars that don't get washed often, especially at the higher PIR. I just love it's strength even though it is OP for what I ask of it save the once a year...

The coating system I previously used still beaded good after a year or so, it was just etched to hell from deicing agents sitting on it got months on end. Needed polished out. That's when I divorced...

Re: First day using Bilt Hamber touchless.

You highlight my main beef with coatings. They need "boosted". So it is the coating still performing or the "boosting agent" that was just applied to it?

If a coating lasted years with just proper...

Re: First day using Bilt Hamber touchless.

I frequently re-wax my car as I am only detailing one vehicle, not a fleet or customers. I personally don't mind the degradation. An excuse to bust the wax out again.
