Re: Towel drying + blow drying

Bingo. Exactly what I do with my little dryer and towels, depending on sunshine.

    Re: RagCo Ultra Black Sponge

I actually really like a lot of their towels too. Their Twistress is a great, not too big drying towel, and I have dozens of their other towels, which I have generally been happy with (though I agree...

It's also not the first time I've had a problem with a RagCo product and they didn't simply take care of it...

I forwarded my reply from the RagCo to AG customer service, who without any questions...

    Re: RagCo Ultra Black Sponge

In case anyone is interested, I emailed the photo to the Rag Company and they said it should not look like this. This is a manufacturing defect...The grooves should be cleanly cut and consistent.

    RagCo Ultra Black Sponge

    Hi AG,

Got my most recent AG order, in which I decided to try out the new RagCo ultra black sponge. I generally prefer to multiple towel method for rinseless washing, but have an older Big Red...

Re: Doing a traditional wash with microfiber towels

I use 400-500 gsm. Good amount of fluffiness without getting too heavy when soaking wet IMHO.

Re: Doing a traditional wash with microfiber towels

Plenty of times, but really only if pressure wash (or really rinse) and foam first.

Anyone tried Hybrid Solutions Pro 1 and Done?

    Hi AG,

I'm looking for a new one-step product (I'm a pure hobbyist). Obviously a ton of marketing behind Hybrid Solutions, but I was intrigued by the idea of a one step that can cut to different...

Re: Anyone still using carnauba products?

    Thanks for the feedback!

Does a typical carnuba product offer any real UV protection? Out here cars don't get wet very often, but it sits outside in the sun all day.

    Anyone still using carnauba products?

I have a bunch of carnauba products still on my shelf, and I was wondering whether anyone still uses these routinely as their primary protection (or maybe...

Re: First wash of my new car (C8 Vette)!

Thanks Mike! Yes on the last point...Even on my first wash my routine was somewhat thrown off by all the planes, angles, etc. My '13 Camaro is a much simpler body design, and was very used to that. ...

First wash of my new car (C8 Vette)!

After 13 months of waiting my 2020 Corvette arrived! Convertible, in shadow grey metallic paint.

Paint was in nice shape coming from the dealer. So far all I did was a maintenance rinseless wash...

Re: Review: Wolfgang Uber SiO2 Rinseless Wash

Thanks for the review Mike! Tried this out today and was happy with the results. Felt a bit more slick than the regular Uber Rinseless (my current go-to rinseless), and left a nice shine. I did find...

Re: Using D/A to Rotary Adapter

Thanks. That all makes good sense. I frankly don't anticipate using these small pads for more than an odd job once or twice a year, so didn't want to buy a small polisher for such limited use. Will...

I believe it's a 15mm throw. I have used it with a 3" pad before and had no issues, but without an adapter.

    Using D/A to Rotary Adapter

    Hi everyone,

    Waterless Wash Experiment

    Hi everyone,

I don't use waterless washes very much, but I use them for my older car (67 Camaro) since, per Mike P's best practices, I try to avoid spraying the older car with a lot water so as to...

Re: Anyone use glaze on a coated car?

Yep. I like the gloss that comes with the coating, but next time around once it wears off I probably won't re-coat it. Nice wax and/or sealant should do the trick

I have a SunJoe at this is correct, the fittings are non-standard. The high quality add on manufacturers (like MTM Hydro) make adapters for Sun Joe, so you can likely find adapters for foam cannons...

Anyone use glaze on a coated car?
