Hey guys,
I recently used nattys white on my black car after a full detail (wash, ironx, clay, correction, ipa wipedown) let it dry to a "haze" and buffed off with a 600gsm microfibre towel. I...
You can probably skip collinite 845 all together and just use the optimum wax weekly to be honest. And try and clean off those bird bombs asap. What I do is I keep a quick detailer in the car with a...
Like LSN mentioned, your paint is probably very soft. Use a black finishing pad with the 205 and water it down as LSN mentioned. If that still doesnt work try out a bottle of menzerna 3500 or 3800...
I read a forum post a while back where a test on layering was dont with collinite915. From memory a the second layer added less than half of what the first layer did. The third layer added a fraction...
As other posters have mentioned use 845 and any other collinite waxes THINLY. In the past I had a lot of issues with collinite waxes with rehazing and oily holograms in the paintwork on my black car,...
Good morning everyone from sunny Australia,
When it comes to the detailing products I use, I always like having a quick read of their corresponding MSDS. I'm big on safety and working with these...
Nah, no offence taken mate your suggestion solved my issue. :)

UPDATE: I decided to start my testing with Menzerna SF3500 since it was a product I could get my hands on quickly. Just as soon as my search began it finished. 3500 finished BRILLIANTLY on the paint...
Great! Thanks for that! Ill be sure to give those techniques a go. If they dont work then Im considering buying either HD polish+ as Finick suggested or menzerna 3500. Anyone tried the menserna...
Its annoying considering Ive had great luck on other cars ! :P
In regards to the products you mentioned, did you inspect the finish after it was wiped down with IPA or another oil removing solvent...
I decided to do a detail on my black Mitsubishi Lancer today. Started off with a wash, iron x, tar x, and then clay. I didnt want to remove 100% of all defects, I just wanted to...
Ill definitely have to check out out your write up. I just recently detailed my uncles car and he kept telling me clay is a waste of time and money... His...
Hope you all had a great Easter!
My question is, are clay bars inherently abrasive? In other words, does the clay have abrasives within it to help it clean or is...
Yeah pretty much what these guys said, you need to work it in more to allow the abrasives and cleaners to do their job. If it's in your budget grab a DA.
