If a product makes you wipe wipe wipe, chances are you're going to scratch the paint. What's the point in the coating, if you made scratches from trying to wipe it off? (shakes head)

Something that has helped me more than ANYTHING is having a 2-3 gallon chemical sprayer.

I'll pre-spray the vehicle with ONR, all over, and double up on the heavy spots. This will help break apart...

I'm a fan of Collinite 476. Being a fellow Chicagoan, I feel your pain. The salt here is awful.

Two coats of 476 and you're good to go. Collinite 476 is by far the best long lasting wax I've ever used. For harsh winters, it makes ice come off in sheets.

The same just happened to my ONR, only it was so cold that the bottle froze, and cracked open. Amazon shipped me a bottle next day delivery.

When the winter comes around, I prefer to use the good old garden sprayer filled with 2 gallons of the warmest water out of my faucet.
I usually fill 2 gallons with 2-2.5 ounces of ONR, and go about...
