Re: Use old business name or start new one?

New name won’t hurt and 1300 is a huge waste. Start fresh and put that money in equipment or something that will actually prove your business

  2. Re: BMW “Frozen Paint”: Anyone with experience with this type of paint?

Spray sealants are great on matte cars. Paste waxes don’t work that well because it clogs up. There are spray and paste waxes AND ceramic coatings made specifically for matte paints.

Re: I want to detail a Tesla Cybertruck.

Imagine using this as a mobile detail rig. Using an electric pressure washer and tools because it has areas to plug in in the bed. That would be amazing! Plus you don’t have to worry about swirls

  9. Re: Pictures: New FLEX PXE by Mike Phillips

I would think a competitor to the nano, AND the mini. Being that it can interchange from rotary, be a mini buffer, and cordless Flex is a winner. They just did the cordless 3401 forced rotation as...

Re: Any Chemical Sprayers that don't suck?

It’s funny because a couple weeks ago I replaced the meguiars bottles I had. About 2 years and they’re all creaking and don’t spray evenly anymore. I bought these to hopefully improve and I’m “in the...

Re: ONR 1st timer - speechless!

Almost every single wash I do is done with ONR. It’s nice to be able to do it in a customers garage when it’s 110 out. I still have the red sponge from over a year ago. If you wash it with dish soap...
  12. Re: When is someone considered a Professional Detailer?

I second this! All the cars I deal with have smeared windows and every other mobile detailer is using a brush and bath towels on cars.

Re: Rupes Mille May need service?

Aaaaand THATS why they are worth it and we pay a premium for them. Won’t get that with the knockoff ones.

  15. Re: NEW FLEX XCE 3401 Corded and Cordless Polishers!

I wonder if these cordless tools fit in the detailers helper polisher bag with the batteries. I suppose you could store the batteries in another pouch if they stick out. This could be a breakthrough....
  16. Re: NEW FLEX XCE 3401 Corded and Cordless Polishers!

Woahhhhh the Beast with cordless technology is already here!

For $499 it says battery sold separately. Is there a kit version that comes with the charger and 2 batteries?

  21. Re: A question of claying and working backwards?

I’ve noticed any marring left by clay is usually out in one step with a light polish. I didn’t even know that t marred until I did a black car that was in good shape.

    Re: What are they thinking?

Ibrid not ibird. It’s because it “BRIDges the gap between corded and cordless tools. They will probably do Ibrid technology in their bigger tools soon.
