  1. Re: What's been your bigest game changers? And why?

That looks like a Bosch battery. Which would be great, since I have a pile of them.

Great job. Black paint with white interior. That car alone will pay for your next house. :xyxthumbs:

Re: Current Best Hose Nozzle of Choice

Eley is the best I've seen. Their hoses and reels are perfect.
  5. Re: What's been your bigest game changers? And why?

Same here. I just replaced my $89 Ryobi after 3 + years. It's tiny and easy to store.
  6. Re: What's been your bigest game changers? And why?

Using a De-Ionizer with a PW is the most labor-saving combo I've used, making washing two cars alot less tiring. It'a a pleasure not having to chase water spots.

Re: Current Best Hose Nozzle of Choice

I only use my PW to do a full-wash on our cars now. I'll do the wheels first. on the body, knock off the big dirt, foam it, (get the mitts out for a contact wash using the foam already on the car)....

Re: Current Best Hose Nozzle of Choice

I've had one like this for at least 5 years now. I don't even remember where I got it. When it starts leaking, I'll toss it.

    Re: DFB's Soapy Notes

Outstanding test. Thank you. If you ever get a chance, I'd like your opinion of Griot's shampoos.
  11. Re: Do you find OE wheels scratch chip easily.....Clear Coat Mumblings

They're more fragile than I thought. I ceased to worry about them years ago. Trying to find touch-up paint for them is tough.

Re: Jaguar wiper replacement- I replace them in the off position, too. I've always placed a microfiber towel under the arm, just in case it slips out of my hand.

Re: Need quick help; spring products suggestions

Six pads will make the job go much faster. A small bucket with a bit of P&S Rags to Riches solution in it comes in real handy for pre-soaking the dirty pads.

Re: New forum so we don't loose everyone!

Agreed. My car needs a real wash, but the weather hasn't been cooperative. I'm too old to be cold and wet. Or even just cold.:)

    Re: DFB's Garage

I like to shop local, but about half the time, I need to get stuff online. The selection just isn't there.

Great rescue. Tough living environment. A high-mileage, 30-year old Porsche. The owner better be a mechanic.

Re: Brown tires - can't fix

I'm to the point now where I'll clean them 2 or 3 times, apply the dressing and call it a day.
  21. Re: WHY would Autogeek throw away customer service?

Both good companies. Armour Detail Supply, Sky's the Limit and AMMO NYC are great, too.

    Re: Geist Leather Conditioner

I concur. I used the cleaner, too. I applied it by spraying it on my curveball brush, then agitated. Couldn't be easier.

    Thanks for the detailed review.
