Re: Microfibre drying cloths lose their ability?

You're addicted, good job. Does the wife know?
  3. Re: today I started the process of detailing my wife's car

I don't think the lake county blue pad is for cutting and correction so 5 would be a bit fast on the PC. I use a PC and I cut on 5 or 6 and polish on 3-4. I also use 4 pads when I do my car.

    Re: amateur paint correction help

With my PC I have found a Microfiber cutting pad is a good place to start and I like the D30016, 90% of the time it gets most of the defects out and if I want to get more out I step up to a yellow or...

  11. Re: Ceramic coating on lights - First time experience

Don't feel bad about taking 25 hours. That's about what it takes me to do a full correction. Wash and inspection, Tar and bug remover, Iron X, Clay, Wash and dry, Then I hit it with Yellow pad and...

Re: Overwhelmed With Options (New Car Protection)

If you plan on taking off road I would suggest PPF on the bottom once you decide how to proceed with paint protection. Do the PPF after correction but before protection application.

    Re: Crazy lottery jackpots.

It's my understanding that you DON'T sign the ticket, lock it in a safe and see a lawyer. If you don't sign it then the lottery has no right to disclose who you are and the lawyer can set up a...
  14. Re: Do stones "bounce off" PPF, and not leave a mark?

I had the factory PPF on rear quarter panels and had installed PPF on the front bumper and front hood area. I have no chips after 4 years but I don't do a lot of highway driving. You are more likely...

Re: Where not to spray iron remover on exterior?

Never had an issue with CarPro IronX staining. I don't spray directly on to glass rubber or plastic and I make sure I rinse throughly behind all trim and my next step is always a thorough wash.

    Re: Help restore paint/shine

It's my understanding that single stage paints were sprayed for commercial use. I would check your paint code and make sure you have single stage white. If still unsure you can test spot with a...
  17. Re: Cleanup after using pads and wax removing towels

I didn't believe the washing machine would clean pads until I tried it. And they spin enough of the moisture out they dry quicker.

  20. Re: Polishing PPF or Clear Bra With BF One Step and a Waxing pad?

I use the lake white pad and it works well don't forget to tape at least the corners on the PPF. Product can get under loose corners and edges. Learned that the hard way.
  21. Re: Will Poorboys Professional Polish Clean panels well?

You stated you had ceramic, if you have ceramic you don't need a topper, clay, or decon. The ceramic is taking care of protecting your paint, you depending on the ceramic you had applied find the...
