I know where I can find the foam guns on the website ...thanks anyway... was just wondering which one acutally works well..hmm./I guess they are all the same construction here..well as long as they...
I was planning on the Flex but I think will start instead with the GG6 for now til I get a feeling for those DAs, and also since they have those smaller backing plates.
ok, thanks for the hint! I read about it being loose somewhere (review or something)..
I am not a power tools user at all...but i am a quick learning; i guess. ;)
so for light SCRATCHES on new paint... u would recommend LC hybrid orange pad?
The scratches are just by the trunk space where u lift stuff over...top of the rear bumper..don't know what it's...
so for those light scratches..IF i had a flex or other DA... what pad and polish would work best? some polish with low cut or do i have to go more agressive...same with pads...
i buffed it out ok,...
Do you guys know that feeling... you wash your car and stuff and all of a sudden you notice some scratches on the paint and wonder how the hell they get there...
Happened to me this morning......
yeah I am sure your right. like MF towels... they surely trap those nasty wood particles well... can't even get them out after a wash. Time for new ones again. ;)
like another user wrote...then counterweight.. does not need to be changed for sure if you use replace the "6 BP with a "5 BP... correct? I am not sure I want to mess with those parts of the...

thanks for your thoughts. I doesnt come with a backing plate though..
Also keep in mind I don't need lots of 'cutting' power as it would be used to maintain a new paint.
I think for now I will go with your advice. The flex is prob great tool - but like $500 for a beginner... IDK... The Griot 6" is reasonable priced and to get a feeling for a DA it's prob good for a...
yeah agree, dumb statement... a clear coat is a sort of 'paint' so how could buffing with a sealant remove that coat... unless you use sandpaper for the buffing job (DO NOT TRY AT HOME KIDS! hehe). ;)
Yeah...but waxing is also not removing anything...and people us a DA for it... just my .02 cents...since I have no clue (YET!) how effective a flex or such is. ;)
