    Re: DFB's Garage

Haven't been on the site in a while. Nice rides, like that blue Falcon. I wish they would of brought some of the Ford's you all had down there to the states. Did you ever own a Ute? Always thought...
  2. Re: Anyone ever put a splash of APC in their favorite car shampoo bucket to add more 'kick' ?

Those of you who have used an APC as a pre-soak, what dilution are you using? I have a gallon of McKee's High Intensity left and wondered about using it like that.

    Re: Longest Lasting Trim Protectant

I second the Cerakote trim coating. I used it on our 2012 Escape's trim a year ago and it's still going strong. And due to taking care of my 91 year old father and two house holds, it does not get...

Re: Pressure Washer for foam cannons

I can't give you any info for a Kracher, but I have a Sun Joe SPX3000. Not sure if they have Sun Joe down there, but I have been happy with it for the price. A gas is going to naturally give you...
  5. Re: Is a pressure washer really needed for a safe wash ?

Bosko's truck is a good example of what a lot of people would use a PW on. Something that is coated with heavy road film or caked on dried/wet mud. Maybe if or when your car gets this way try a coin...

Re: Sonax PNS - multiple coats?

Bead Maker for me. Think I slid 5 feet before catching myself.

I always believe in the 2 coats for full coverage. Aging eye sight is part of it. :xyxthumbs:

    Re: Sealant suggestions...

Brother bought a travel trailer last spring and they put 303 Graphene on it. He's been on 4 trips with it and it is still sheeting water when he did the "put it away for winter wash".

    Re: My Raider is gone

Sorry for the loss. They are just like your kids.

We had two Boston Terriers, sisters. We got the runt and biggest ones of the litter. I still remember the day we went and looked at them. The lady...
  13. Re: Extreme Wheel Makeover - SONAX Wheel Cleaner PLUS

I bought some Sonax products at the end of last year. And have been really impressed with them. The PNS is great for the time it takes to apply. The wheel cleaner does an amazing job just like what...
  14. Re: Doing Edge Work with RUPES Nano in Rotary Mode - Mike Phillips Style

Mike, when you get to the edge and still have that little bit left, is as you always say, "don't sweat the little stuff"? Or do you go back and do it by hand?
  15. Re: Supa BEAST and CBEAST Backing Plate Swap by Mike Phillips

Out of these pads, do you prefer one or the other cutting, polishing, or finishing pad over the other?

So very true, but then you think of the millions of dollars make off of the "As Seen on TV" products. Now, I'm not saying they are all bad, but some are nothing more then snake oil....

    Welcome to the forum.

Re: Black F350 Paint Correction and Jet Seal

First off, thanks for supporting me by buying the F350.

Second of all, I was like some others here pulled into the ad's about Jet Seal. Not worth it and way over priced. I did half of my parents...

  20. Re: Chris West - Over The Top - Plastic Sealer Solution Finish

    Mike,

Have you ever used CERAKOTE Ceramic Trim Coat Kit? I was just wondering if this was about the same as it. I used it on my 2012 Escape trim and it really helped it out.
  21. Re: 2006 Toyota Sequoia - Comet Wash - Extreme Makeover - BLACKFIRE One Step

White definitely does not shine or look as deep as the darker colors, but it does seem to stay clean longer. I have had 3 black vehicles, and each time I said never again. But IMO nothing looks as...
  22. Re: Meguiar's No.7 Glaze for Single Stage - Bondo?

At first I thought you were going to be wasting you time, but it did give it a nice little shine. And if he is wanting to keep the Patina look, you gave him a nice shine and some protection.....
