    Re: Stains on rims

The products you used should not have caused that. They are safe to use on coated surfaces.

Again that is nothing abnormal. Water causes that reaction as well. Any fluids to the rotors will...

    Re: Stains on rims

Rotors discolor like that with just water. I have seen it a million times. OP probably took pics of the wheels right after he tried detailing them on his own so they have been sitting awhile. Once...
  3. Re: How much am I looking at for professional new car prep and coating?

I would still have a professional do this kind of work for you. I have seen all too many amateurs try and lay ceramic coatings with all sorts of leveling issues. The worst part is they usually do...
  4. Re: Rupes Ibrid Nano polisher is NOW here!

I would consider a battery powered DA if the battery technology is there. So being powerful, lightweight, relatively compact, and decently long battery life. This machine is only good for very...

    Re: Prepping for cquartz

Your leveling time for that product and temp range sounds appropriate. For second layer just make sure area is free of debris (you should not have to decon the paint again). Depending on amount of...
  6. Re: How much am I looking at for professional new car prep and coating?

Since you are in Pittsburg I highly recommend a high quality job be done and multiple layers of ceramic be installed all over the car! You are probably looking at well over 1000 for something like...
  7. Re: Rupes Ibrid Nano polisher is NOW here!

I am not sure what the cause of the issue is. However, when using the machine it kinda sounds like when you were a kid and you had a bicycle and you put one of those playing cards on your bike so...
  8. Re: Rupes Ibrid Nano polisher is NOW here!

I apologize for the delay. I have had an issues with mine and need to get it replaced. I have to say a big thanks to Rupes for handling this with such integrity and making it so simple and easy by...

    Re: Prepping for cquartz

I would say depending on the application is what would dictate what you would need to do to prep it for a ceramic based coating system. Not every application is the same. This is where consulting a...

    Re: Nissan gtr navigation help

Pics and a detailed explanation of how you detailed the screen would help. I have never had this issue and I have done probably a bazillion screens both oem and aftermarket. Are you spraying the...

    Poll: Re: armor all products,

I am not sure if you have ever traveled overseas, but in a lot of places they do not carry the same products that we carry here in the CONUS. Due to the fact I am not exactly sure which armor all...

    Poll: Re: armor all products,

Ummm they usually offer free shipping on orders over $150. Or I think you can use the code "ago" and it is a promo code for free shipping.

Now to the question why is armor all "bad?"

    Re: Best protection for chrome

No worries. I guess I also should have fully explained my previous statement in that carnauba based waxes do work for painted wheels, however I do not like using that kind of coating option when...

    Re: help please..I'm in trouble

I have been using Dr. CC ever since the product debuted. I have never had this issue. I would like the OP to post some pics also to give us a step by step detailed process of what he does. I am...

    Re: Best protection for chrome

I skimmed through some of the posts here and I just wanted to clear a few things up.

    1) polish is not a sealant or wax of any kind. Unless on the bottle it states it is an AIO type of product...
  21. Re: Confused? Do I apply a coat of wax after a sealant?

Jim, It is my experience that as long as you are utilizing these products properly that the Spritz will NOT liquify your WDGPS product and neither will layering the WDGPS. Both are brilliant products!
  22. Re: Rupes Ibrid Nano polisher is NOW here!

Yes I have a little issue with mine. I need to get ahold of a Rupes rep to rectify this.
