    Re: Ceramic Coating Questions

Truly polishing, yes will remove pretty much all coatings. I'm talking about a couple passes with a non aggressive pad/polish, you may not completely remove the coating. But I agree, if you are...

Re: Water spots: The coatings achilles heel

I've coated roughly 50 cars in the past year and none have come back with water spotting issues, BUT I've heard other installers having issues. Opti Coat recommends acid washing and/or mineral...

Re: Little brown / rust spots on white paint

Have your brakes inspected. This is likely the source of the iron contamination. Iron-X or a similar product is the best product to use, followed by clay bar. After you have it all removed, keep...

    Re: Opti-Coat Pro installer cerfification

The training used to include the product credit. They have now reduced the price by 500 and there is no product credit. I believe the training was well worth it. I had been detailing for over 8...

Re: Irritated the wife again (Detailing related).

  17. Re: Optimum Hyper Polish Spray With Long Throw Polisher?

No fillers or oils. It is a true polish. You'll need to finish with a lsp of your choice. Also, wipe off panel by panel. If left to dry, it becomes difficult to wipe off.

    Re: Mid-Engine C8 Corvette

That's a good point. I guess I'm just assuming that there is a lot more $$ going into the R&D phase of this car, but perhaps it isn't much more than any other new model.
