Re: Mobile detailer or mobile car washer?

If all you do is wash the car and vacuum the interior, then yes, washer. But the second you put some dressing on the tires and trim, etc. you've started turning the page into detailing, because...

Re: Red light and speeding cameras

They were all the rage here in Texas for a while. I find them to be somewhat unconstitutional because if you call the police department that "issued" the ticket, and ask to set up a meeting with the...

Re: Order being shipped by FedEx

I've started prefering fedex of UPS in the last couple of years. Not sure what happened, but it seems like UPS kind of fell off.

Re: mckees new waterless wash 4 in 1 product

Its kind of funny, that its N-914. A tip of the hat do D-114?
  6. Re: Moving - What is best way to prepare product for movers?

FedEx must not realize how much of this stuff they're already shipping around the country.
  7. Re: Moving - What is best way to prepare product for movers?

My experience is the moving company won't touch the chemicals. They wouldn't move a bottle of washer fluid, I doubt they'll move detailing chemicals, simply because they don't know and they'll always...

    Re: Question about CarPro ECH2O

I made a bottle at 1:15. It leaves a ridiculous shine. On my next experimental batch I'll probably take it to 1:20.

Re: Mckee's 37 Rinseless wash Beta review

I agree with Bob. D114 for WW says 128:1. RW 256:1
  12. Re: HYDR02 - new bottle, different color - is something wrong?

I remember Corey saying something about changing the bottles to all one bottle regardless of product and that all the bottles have better UV protectant which changes the color through the bottle.

Re: Rinseless Wash BETA Testers Needed

Given my un-abashed love for D114, I'd like to compare this to D114. :)
  14. Re: Selling house - what to do with garage queen or valuable assets

I have enough cameras in the last house we sold, I pretty much watched every showing.... My new neighbors had a necklace stolen during an open house. the young daughter just started going through the...

    Re: Alternatives for D114?

You're assuming they'd sell it. I'm sure there's some secret sauce in there that they wouldn't want to sell as part of the formulation.
  17. Re: Toyota questions - FJ Black Paint Question and Gray Camry

I have two '15s (Highlander and Camry) both in Pre Dawn Gray. I don't find the paint to be particularly soft. NO WHERE near the paint on my Mini Cooper or Honda Pilots I've owned.

    The only...

    Re: Alternatives for D114?

I remember reading someone was going to give McKee's Matte Finish Cleaner a shot.

I'm like you. I loved D114s cleaning abilities and the fact it didn't add anything on top of my LSP.

I dunno, but they discontinued an AMAZING rinseless wash product. :)

  22. Re: Meguiar's D114 Rinsefree Express Wash Is Discontinued

I swung by my local Meg's shop hoping he still had a few gallons on the shelf. Said he was out, but had put in a order last week that he was due to get next week, and he hasn't seen any cancellations...

Re: New Products: Who Wants to Test & Review?

I've written reviews for products not carried by Autogeek, and I like trying new products. My car is due for a light polish detail here shortly, so I'll have a blank slate to try just about anything...

Re: same pressure washers different companies

They're all made by the same factory, the only difference is the color of the plastics, and the sticker they put on them.
  25. Re: Review: McKee's 37 Turbo Car Dryer - Comparison With Master Blaster And Sidekick

I like reviewers who aren't on the pay roll.... More honest feedback.
