    Re: Bug Remover

I really like the Griots bug remover. I spray it on and then soap over it with my mitt. Per instructions, I give it about a minute and then I start washing the car. It's super thick and suds up with...

Best Ceramic Coating for Bug Etching?

The wife and I bought a 2019 blue BMW X3 M40i. I polished the paint beautifully 2 months ago and applied a go to sealant. This cars paint EASILY etches from bird poop or bug guts. It drives me...

    Re: water stains

Typically it's acid that can take out water spots.

Check out Car Pro's Descale. It's a soap that's very acidic used to refresh ceramic coatings but also can be used for cars to take out water...

Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

So I am looking at detailing the wife's new to us BMW 2019 X3 M40i today. Was going to use ONR solution to wipe down the interior screens on the dash.

Did some googling, but what's the right...

    Re: Tire Dressing

Looking to do some shopping this labor day weekend.

Have been using the Adams Tire shine in the white bottle, it's nice and Matte, but doesn't last long at all. I was going to try Car Pro PERL,...

Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Figured this was the best place to ask (this thread), but does anyone remember the 'fix' someone had for their speedmaster wheel brush rubber tip ripping off?

Someone had some 'fix' where it was...

    Re: Need advice

I would suggest trying Koch Chemie Eulex.

That stuff was a god send for my wife's car who had a ton of tar from a recent road being paved. Took it off on a rag like nothing. If this came off with...

    Re: Soap Cleaning Power

Bubbles and foam is what helps in cleaning. I agree about the higher PH stuff breaking it down on it's own, but it's bubbles that make a car cleaner when you match that with a good mitt. The bubbles...

    Re: Clear coat aluminum wheels

For me, the beneift of staying non polished is the SHINE you'll get from them when polished. BUUUT because tehy're non polished, the draw back then is maintenance, pittting, etc.
  18. Re: Anyone have the Rupes LL150 Pen Light? If you do, how do you fix this?

  19. Anyone have the Rupes LL150 Pen Light? If you do, how do you fix this?

I was fidgeting with it too much over the weekend, and I think I screwed off the head from the 'pull' base?

So now, the head just spins and spins but doesn't 'rethread' back on the way it was...

  21. Clay Pad on DA vs. Clay Mitt - Which works better?

    Hey Guys,

So for the longest time I've used a clay pad 6inch on a DA like Mike P showed me years ago on here (machines work better than your hand). I tended to go by that...until I started seeing...

And if a car is getting washed….it’s my Audi before her older Volvo aka the tank. Haha
